Christmas cartoons and videos are always fun, for me. Rudolph is cute : )
But, they were more fun when we watched together with the kids, knowing they were only shown once.
Now, we have them on DVD's, kind of takes the fun out of it, somehow.

We don't watch any DVD's. We have Charter 'On Demand'. In fact, we got rid of our DVR, because we never used it.

I'm sad at myself. "It's a Wonderful Life" no longer brings me joy.
I have watched it so many times. Also "Christmas Story" is pretty
much etched in my brain. Am I growing old?

No. Those movies don't hold the appeal because the times were so much different.

I watched the I Love Lucy Christmas Show last night. I am assuming a computer put the colors in a black and white show. It was awesome to see all the original characters, Fred, Ethel, Ricky and Lucy in color. Even Little Ricky. Wonder how old the boy that played Little Ricky is now? Probably about LFF's age.

it's was quite amusing, most of the time : ). Enough to happily say I was married to Charlie Brown for almost 50 years.
My brother ( nine years older ) and his friends called me Peanut, so I guess it was meant to be.
I lost Charlie in 2003, after a bad operation. He's still a part of my life, and always will be.

The Jetsons was cute ! I was a real cartoon fan as were my kids.
I got into a bad situation with a woman on fb, about cartoons. She tried to
spoil them for me--lol----it didn't work ! Only person I ever felt the need to block, and I don't miss her comments, at all.
They'r cartoons, for pete's sake. So much more fun than the new ones, which make little or no sense.

I sat down to read while our 4 years old grandson was over while his mom was shopping. He watched Power Rangers, and some other cartoon/live programs. Nothing but non stop fighting, explosions and slinging of swords etc. It moved so fast my head was spinning.

Sure, road runner cartoons and Tom and Jerry had what some scholars want to call violence, but it was slow and funny and the kids knew it was cartoons. I never once saw a kid push another one off a cliff and shout Geronimo like the Coyote. Or smack someone with a shovel like Tom and Jerry. I do see them acting out the scenes of Power Rangers and some other shows.

Give me the old cartoons that were instructional or at least funny.
