John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
I called it "teasing" the hair but the true name is "back combing".....I remember it took a long time to get your hair combed out at night.

Oh how I remember those hair styles back then. I had a friend of mine do my hair once. She used so much hair spray it was funny. After I saw it and say she did a good job. I went home and combed it out. I didn't really care for it that much. I like the way I have it now, short and just wash it and put some mousse on it and let it dry and comb it out. Done.
My late hubby loved my hair long. For the last few years of his life I had worn it short. When he died I felt guilty and let it grow for 5 years before I had it cut again. It was getting too hard to manage. So for about 9 years now I have had it short and do not regret it. I go to the barber to have it done about every 6 to 8 weeks and all I have to do is wash it and apply a little gel or spray.

1: I cannot open the Hair styles video. 2: I usually go from very short to very long. It has been about 2 years since I had it cut. The thing I like about long hair is the ability to pull it up on top of my head, twist it and use a large ? clip with a spring to hold it in place. What I dislike is shampooing and combing all that hair. It is thick. Short hair must be cut often.
Sorry the video had been deleted.....and this is a rather old thread. Pros and cons for old threads but we keep them and thanks for bringing it back. Memories are good.
My hair is short as a matter of fact time to make a hair appointment.

LFF, how many years ago did you wear your hair long? When boys were wearing long hair, my father in law criticized one of my sons for his. I told my son. "Tell your Grandfather it's what is inside your head that matters. Not what is outside."
I’m not keen on long hair for men, usually looks a mess. Had my hair done in the US for my son’s wedding and came out looking like Dolly Parton, my husband couldn’t stop laughing.
