Really??

How can a famous box store advertise a "roll back" on items and yet it costs more than the price before the roll back?  Example:  in February their brand of green beans sold for 49 cents and today they advertise them as a roll back item selling for 54 cents.  Not a roll back in my opinion.

Typical supermarket trick Glad. They will probably price them at 60 cents next week. Quite a few things here have gone up 25% in the food line. My food bills were about £70 pw they are now about £90!

£90 is about $120 , everything seems to have gone up in price for example rib eye steak x2 were $9 now $12 !
Bread is still cheap but a lot of grain comes from the Ukraine so that will go up. Just have to pay up. They say fruit and veg will be scarce.

I know the eggs here at $3 a dozen now. Bread is up as well as everything else.

I can get 12 eggs for about $2.30, they are free range as well, but heard they will go up. Government is supposed to be doing something about cost of living but it’s global market forces.

Yes, they do a lot of "feel good" talk. I hear SS is supposed to get another substantial raise for cost of living. By the time it gets here, I'm afraid we will once again have it diluted by the rise in inflation.
