Thanks!  You know I have my monitor recessed in my desk, and Gracie loves to lie on top of the glass, so I can't do anything there until she decides to move.

The top of the desk has a hole cut in it, large enough for the monitor to be seen on a tilted panel under the top.  The panel the monitor is on can be tilted for best viewing.  Then a sheet of glass if placed in the frame that's fitted in the desktop over the monitor. 
I didn't build it.  Dawn bought it for me, monitor included, for $149 at Smart and Simple, a discount store that sells items that don't sell at the big stores.
