Dear Lightfootfan,

I just heard about frankie and would like to offer my condolences. I know what it feels to lose a pet, I lost my Peggy Sue (cat) last August and I still haven't gotten over it. Our pets are like humans to us and it is so hard to let them go.

Thanks Margie.

I appreciate that. I was thinking of getting another one, but I don't know if I will outlive her. I don't want to die and leave a pet behind as she will think I abandoned her. I might get an older cat that no one else wants and give it a good retirement home.
