If this is true, how can we know any translation is correct?

I can't be for sure that it is true....but I have a gut feeling we should believe it. I have a Bible Code Book (paperback) but I do not understand it.
I do think we can get caught up in trying to find out things but for me I enjoy learning and I do pray that God will lead me into information that is good for me to know
