We have a 'Lil Cesar Pizza here and I do like their crust.......is seems to be more crispy and a thicker crust.  You can get a large supreme for 12 dollars which is cheaper than Caseys.

I hear that I am not to visit the place 

until the deal is sealed. I reckon I will 

need to eat whatever our garden offers

until they close the sale. (I amuse myself)

We have large frozen pizzas at Sunoco for 4.99.  Can a frozen pizza be done in the microwave?

No, pizza not good in microwave, goes hard,do in oven. Only takes half an hour if frozen.

I've never baked a pizza- I'm afraid to try it.

Heat your oven LFF to hot, put pizza on an oven tray and pop in. Takes 25-30 mins from frozen, 15 minutes if you defrost. Simple, you can easily do it.

I am not a pizza lover, nor have i ever tried corn dogs, but i do buy and eat quiches...i buy and put them in the freezer, then microwave...

I like quiches, but I shouldn't.  Remember?  Real men don't eat quiche.

Dermatologist appointment today......as usual I got "zapped"  a number of times but only on my arms and hands......no legs thank goodness.

GladEOlah...i have been backwards and forwards to my GP surgery once a week for the past five weeks and my leg wound is still not heeling...If by zapped you mean the doppler, i had that done too, arms and legs...My leg has been freshly bandaged or very large plastered every time because of watering leakage...They had me on three types of anti-biotics or penicillin's for a consecutive three weeks that none stopped the burning -throbbing sensations, now they are giving me water tablets and pain medications...Oh, and my foot is also swollen to my other foot, cant get any of my shoes to fit that foot...Told this is nothing to do with my " late onset " diagnoses of Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis..

So sorry Jackie, sounds awful. Prayers said and I’m sure other Shouters will pray for you.

LFF..took blood a week or so ago, four phials, i remember one was for kidneys, cant remember what the other three were for but, all came back as good...as for the heart, it seems to be, still ticking...Thank you ALL for my prayers, prayers were also said in our ( Renew group ) church prayer room this morning, of which i was included...

The reason I asked is that Congestive heart failure can cause some of those problems.

I would bring a pizza from my daughter in law's place.

Also, a little news.  Ingrid went into the hospital a week ago.  Her  Son called me today.She'll be going to rehab, and then probably to assisted living.

Pity about your pizza LFF. Sounds like Ingrid poorly, hope she makes a good recovery.

I hate when I find something freezer burned. It doesn't take but a small hole or tear, to do that. Most of the time, you never know it, till you take it out to eat it.

I have one errand to run this morning, then back home, to stay out of the heat. I have to go and get some feed for the animals.

Back from another trip to the GP practice, another very tight bandage to stop the water from leaking from the open sores, leg burning and throbbing, very very painful..dont know how many times she wrapped this bandage around, even padded out with something side and back...

Good afternoon all. Sorry I haven't been around for a while. With just have one good eye now it's hard to get on all the time. I try at least once a week if I can. Otherwise just taking it one day at a time. Won't get to go to Iowa City Hospital and clinics till April of next year. Did have an appointment back in Dec of last year but couldn't find a ride. Got one now but I don't like waiting a year to see 2 doctors. Oh such is life. I also lost my regular doctor here last month and the clinic is looking for a replacement now. Otherwise will have to go look someplace else. Hope not.

Glad to see you again Margie and please do not feel bad you can't come in as often.  Even myself I don't come around as much as I once did.  I am very happy to see you when you can visit.  Take care of yourself!

Bless your heart, Margie! That is barbaric, making people have to wait that long, especially here in the US. Of course, even in my area, I'm having to wait nearly 3 months, for an eye exam.

Waits in the nhs can be over two years. Lot of immigrant health tourism, impacted on true Brits. People waiting in ER eight hours on a gurney.

That's where we're headed here, I'm afraid.

Here if you pay can get seen or surgery quickly, but you need deep pockets.

May GOD have mercy on ALL of us.

Jackie, I certainly hope your legs are healing. It sounds so

very uncomfortable. Does the UK offer Home Care? The best

employment I ever had was Home Health Care. We were taught

to do bandaging, etc. If care was beyond our expertise, a visiting 

nurse would see the patient at home.

This has been a lovely day , although for some reason, I feel a bit

melancholy. Not sure why. ( :pray:for each of us.

Well, I'm just now getting around to visit. I've been outside working on the vehicle. Trying to put a new window motor in. Not that hard, but I have one bolt, that is generally the case, that doesn't want to come out. It's in a tight spot, naturally. It got too hot just now, It's 93F. I'd been working in the shade, but even that is still hot.

We are touching the 90's today, here in UK...I have another morning trip on my mobility scooter to the Doctors surgery..

I mentioned to Jodi at work that I was depressed due to not liking being broke, and she told Sheri.  Now, Sheri is concerned about me.  Suggested I might be depressed because Ingrid is gone.  Speaking of Ingrid, I called her yesterday, She sounded good, but it sounds like she'll be in the hospital for a while.  Then will go to rehab.  Then dialysis will be on the agenda.  And then, probably assisted living.
It's partly my fault for not insisting she get some exercise the last 2 months. rather than sitting around all day while she stayed by me.

Why don’t you get a part time PAID JOB LFF.? It would help your depression and pocket. Retail comes to mind. You are sociable and would be a good employee.

LFF I know one thing for sure if I were able I would work a few hours.  I loved my 26 year coupon job at a grocery store....just a few hours a week on the time I wanted to go in.  When another owner bought the store the office personnel did the coupons.  I was offered a job as a cashier but I declined because of standing for hours.  I don't necessarily need to work although things are tighter now since I sunk my money into the new car. At least  I can go to the store without someone having to take me.

There may come a day when our 2001 Rav4 gives out on us. It's been a great little truck/suv. I don't think I want a newer car, too much to go wrong with them. Plus, insurance is getting crazy. I think, it because all these states and or cities are handing out free license to the illegals, they love to drink and drive, and can't drive well to start with. Makes our insurance go up as the companies have to pay out more.

Lot of fraud here with car insurance, cash for crash, immigrant crime. Also EV’s very costly to repair. Most people’s insurance here went up about 50% this year.

Think twice about getting new cars, with the way things are going, the car industries are now banging out electrics and driverless cars...Petrol's and diesel's will soon be a thing of the past..

OH, for the good old days when I either walked or took 

a bus to stores. At least one female in our park walks to 

Meijer pulling her wheeled cart. She sure seems healthy. 

As for employment, I could resume Home Health Care, 

privately. If rental and insurance stays within my SSI. 

I will be okay. I may not be able to assist others. As God wills. 

It's going to be another hot one today! I hope everyone is having a good week thus far. No plans for today, just doing things, as I think of them.

It’s 27C here and feels roasting. Got delicious plums from the garden, Apples ripening but light crop this year after heavy pruning in the Spring.

Another trip back to the GP surgery lunchtime..my watering leg..5th time in 9 days...
