I am glad someone else gets 79.

50+50-25x0+2+2=50 +50 is 100, subtract 25, you have 75.  Multiply that by 0, you have 0.  Add 2, you have 2.  Add another 2, you have4.
Now, if yo put it in the form 50+50-(25x0)+2+2=, then you have 104.
If written 50+(50-25)x0+2+2=, you still have 4.
Anything that's multiplied by 0 is 0.
 Now, 50+50-25(x0+2)+2= you have 152.

Glad, I believe it's in Greenville County, up toward the N.C. line.
I will have to ask my brothers as they're smarter than I am.
The men who mentioned the water flowing took a pail of water,
jumped into a pickup truck and off we went, up the curving highway
to a certain spot.
They poured out the water and it appeared to flow up hill. Could
have been something about the elevation. I'm not sure.

LFF, I'm sticking with 79.  shout2

Well it is nothing to do with a boxing ring...more to do with when Queen Victoria was on the throne...The rich boxed up gifts for the poor...Traditionally a day off for the servants...A day when they received a special Christmas box from their master...The servants would also go home on Boxing Day to give Christmas boxes to their family..

Jackie, I have read and heard about Boxing Day for many years.
I'm glad you explained it so we can understand for sure.

Glad, I agree. When we decide to donate, we look the item over
and if it's too shabby for us to wear, then it's too shabby to offer
to someone else.
As I dealt with a toothache yesterday, my mind
went to the homeless who cannot afford dental care and how
their pain would be worse than mine because they might also be freezing.

Back to the question, was it King David? I know his baby died because he
sent ? Bathsheba's (?) husband to the frontlines to be killed.

I never learned algebra. How I managed to get my GED scoring in the 90s,
I have no idea.

First, all water evaporates, which means that the liquid (water) "disappears" and becomes a vapor, or gas. Hot water evaporates at a much faster rate than cold water. This means that the bowl with hot water actually had less water than the bowl with cold water, which helped it freeze more quickly.
Second, convection (the transfer of heat within the water as it moves around) plays a part in helping hot water freeze more quickly than the bowl of cold water. The hot water has more convection currents than cold water, causing it to cool down much more quickly. That's why your bath water always seems to get cold much faster than you'd like!
But what that doesn't tell you is that that hot water, even though it's less in volume, it has to cool before freezing.

LFF, from google,

A non-uniform temperature distribution in the water may also explain the Mpemba effect. Hot water rises to the top of a container before it escapes, displacing the cold water beneath it and creating a "hot top." This movement of hot water up and cold water down is called a convection current. These currents are a popular form of heat transfer in liquids and gases, occurring in the ocean and also in radiators that warm a chilly room. With the cooler water at the bottom, this uneven temperature distribution creates convection currents that accelerate the cooling process. Even with more ground to cover to freeze, the temperature of the hotter water can drop at a faster rate than the cooler water.
So the next time you refill your ice cube tray, try using warmer water. You might have ice cubes to cool your drink even sooner.
This answer is provided by Scienceline, a project of New York University's Science, Health and Environmental Reporting Program.
Originally published on Live Science.
Regardless of how it becomes frozen,
hot water manages to freeze before cold water.

A baker's dozen is usually 13.
Reason:
In medieval England there were laws that related the price of bread to the price of the wheat used to make it. Bakers who were found to be “cheating” their customers by overpricing undersized loaves were subject to strict punishment, including fines or flogging. Even with careful planning it is difficult to ensure that all of your baked goods come out the same size; there may be fluctuations in rising and baking and air content, and many of these bakers didn’t even have scales to weigh their dough. For fear of accidentally coming up short, they would throw in a bit extra to ensure that they wouldn’t end up with a surprise flogging later. In fact, sometimes a baker’s dozen was 14—just to be extra sure.
