Good morning to all. Not much going on here at home, need to get a cup of coffee in me, so I can go outside and feed all the critters.

Another day in paradise!  Could be worse.

I guess it's Mothers Day in Canada

I used to love holidays, but became burned out on them about 8 years ago. Prepare a lavish meal, and everything, and they show up, already have eaten somewhere. 

Mother's Day is different, you celebrate with Mother, or about her if she's gone. No buying lots of presents, or cooking all night and then cleaning up. Mother's don't expect that much, even though they give of themselves so much.

I had a delightful mothers day.

I received a gift from at least one of my children and one of my grandchildren.

That sounds great, Glad. I miss my mother manytimes.

Good Friday morning! We have rain falling here at home. I guess it will just be a dy for doing laundry indoors.

Did my wash yesterday.

We have puts our house on the market here, from the photos it looks like a palace. Lot of hard work clearing out clothes and other stuff. I must have thrown out hundreds of pounds of clothing. It’s been upsetting but has to be done. It was posted up yesterday and a lady from Cuba wants to view but we have friends coming for four days on Monday so she will have to wait. Also last night another Realtor turned up wanting to sell the house for us. He had seen the advertisement! We have sold our car to our mechanic and will give it when we go to the airport. Husband upset about the car but not the house lol!

Another morning of rain. I don't really mind that much, the overcast makes things more relaxed, to me.

Today not one thing planned, just heating up a casserole for lunch, sun shining so the  ideal day.

Nell, I have given all our surplus clothes to either the Pet charity shop or the Humana collection, gave twelve pairs of shoes to Humana yesterday. They have collection boxes on the streets. Gradually getting through it!

Ah, Chiggers. The bane of camping, probably why I never liked camping. In the 70s when we had weekend maneuvers with the National guard, some guys would put flea collars in the bloused pants leg at the top of the boots. That didn't help the arms, though.

We always rid ourselves of them, by bathing in a tub of water with just a small amount of bleach in it, or if not bathing, a very weak solution on a rag and wiped the arms and legs. Of course, make sure you're not allergic to bleach.

Also, we found a dab of clear fingernail polish over the bite, caused them to suffocate.
