I remember how I felt as if it might never end. It did and it will

We water the gardens about every-other day
due to lack of moisture.
It sure felt hot and sweaty while I worked outside
this morning. The AC has been running steadily.

We had the good rain yesterday, thankfully.
However the humidity has increased tremendously.
So hot and humid here today, I didn't even visit Little
Chuckie.
I did a bit of garden work early, picked kale.
A neighborhood Groundhog managed to scale the fence
and ate a lot of lettuce. I didn't mind as it was a patch I
had stopped picking/letting it go to seed.
A rather adult rabbit stood on the blocks surrounding the
oval garden, looking over into the menu, but didn't even
try jumping over. I hope he/she found food somewhere.

They have to eat too, Joyous.

I know, LFF, but we work hard to grow our food. There are wooded areas where to Groundhog could find edible weeds. There is plenty of clover the rabbit can eat. We usually transport the Groundhogs at least 5 miles away to open fields. Rabbits , we cannot catch.

I'm concerned about this heat. It could kill weakened people.

Before we even realize it, it'll be winter in Michigan, and we'll be wishing we had heat.

Naturally! I watered Parts of the gardens.
Still, rain will be welcome if the humidity drops.

Today is a blessing from the LORD.

A beautiful morning here in SE Michigan.
The afternoon is warmer, but breezes made sitting outside comfortable.

We had a nice day here in SW Michigan too!

I haven't been outside except to dash out quickly to grab the
pail for scrubbing the kitchen floor. It didn't feel unbearable.

Forecast here calls for 82 today, 88 tomorrow, 86 and rain on Wednesday and Thursday, then 90 on Friday and Saturday.

and relax afternoon.

Temp was supposedly 66 when I got up. The thermometer isn't
always accurate. The heat increased a the sun rose. Good for ripening
tomatoes!

81F on our patio, 77F inside, 60% humididity in and out, so will turn on the a/c. O. By the way, our electric bill doubled last month. Good thing we only have a few more weeks of this stuff.
