73F/23C here at 9:30 in the morning. I had to get Chipper out for his walk this morning, so I could be home by 9. Our Allegan forecast says Partly sunny, with a high near 83. North wind 3 to 6 mph.

64F/18C here at 9 a.m. Humidity is at 78%, but it feels okay. Took Chipper for a walk before we reach our 85 degrees, as our forecast says Sunny, with a high near 85. East wind 5 to 7 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Awoke (not the AWOKE we hear about) this morning
to a wonderful 62 degrees! Turned on the window fan,
opened a kitchen window. Heavenly cooling breeze.
Alas, after a bit of garden work, my joy plummeted.
Humidity hit like a hot shower.
I have more Borage leaves drying on paper towels
in the car window. They dry quickly there and Borage
makes excellent tea for sinus problems and for congestion.
I may have mentioned drying Mint for tea also.
In the South Carolina hills, where I grew up, a couple bought
a few acres of hillside land and turned it into a tea farm. They
grow it, package it, sell it. I keep meaning to buy some from them.
It's special to me because we roamed those wooded hills our entire
childhood. Nostalgia. The small acreage Daddy left me years ago is
being sold. Sold to a niece, thankfully. I had signed it over to my
children and they live here in Michigan, so selling makes sense.

Also, we may not need more moisture in the atmosphere,
but the earth is quite dry and I will welcome rain which
means I don't have to carry water to the gardens.
Speaking of gardens, we had enough ripe tomatoes

the microwave. OH, heavenly.
