I hope your mom's day got better as it wore on.

I planted spinach this morning.
Visited Little Chuckie.
Went with my daughter to visit my oldest son and his lady.
Back home, I visited Little Chuckie again.(My son was out on lake Erie fishing.)

Lake Erie?  Can you still just scoop up the floating fish with a net there?

Almost the middle of March.  Our snow is almost gone, but here in Michigan, that can change in a heartbeat.
I'm tempted to stop in at AAA computers in Allegan today, and ask if they have a better router than my Netgear 6100, and if they install.  Sheri keeps losing the signal from mine.

No clue, LFF. I never fish. I do go there once in awhile
to watch my son fish. He has a metal. flat-bottom boat.
He can row or start up the outboard engine.
Another son has a pleasure boat. Summer before last, he
and his wife took me and her mom out on Belleville lake.
I loved it.
So far today I went to Kroger, bank, Meijer. Had a prescription
filled at Meijer. I forgot my mask and asked if I had to return 
to the car to get it. A nice young lady just walked in and said 
she had an extra, never used of course. How kind of her.
Soon I will see Little Chuckie.

I've done that too, Joyous.  I have an unused mask in my glove compartment.  (Why is it called a glove compartment?  Do people actually keep gloves in it?)
Took Chipper for a walk, went to Village Markup for butter- came out with $19 worth of stuff.
Got an email from my Sister.  Hospice is coming out to evaluate Mom tomorrow.

Here we go with another Friday.  I'll be leaving in about an hour to go to my Mom's.  Will meet someone from Hospice there, along with my Sister.  On my way home, I hope to stop by A tech computers to see if they can install a new router for me.  Having a meals on wheels hamburger for breakfast.

Nice Sunny day today.  Have to leave in about an hour to go pick up Dawn.  Will take her to a 'Spring' party at Penny's.  We're supposed to have a Hawaiian theme.
I want to tear down and rearrange my desk and computer components to facilitate easier connectivity when the tech comes out to install my new router next week.  My Sister and I did that with my Mom's computer yesterday.  What a rat's nest of wires!
Don't forget to set your alarm to wake you at 2 tomorrow morning to reset your clocks.

Sunny day here again.  Changed my mind about moving my TV and computer around.  I need to have the TV on my right side, like it is now, so I can hear it.  Should go out to my Mom's today, after I take Dawn home.
Just saw a news story on the movie 'Crip Camp' about crippled kids in the 60's, with actual footage from then.  I remember now how my folks forced me to go to school, etc,. and 'deal with it'.

Woke up at 6 with the little pink guy , took Chipper out.  Don't have a whole lot planned today.  Waiting for a call from the computer tech to set up a time to install my router.  Just saw on the news that short naps are good....

Spring is springing around me and I decided to take a walk in the yard.....needless to say I could only go half the yard.....the further I got the more I sank in......we have had a month of thawing snow and the past week heavy rain......garden will be late this year.

Sorry to hear that, Glad.  Had my new router installed today, a TP-Link 3000, dual band router.  In order for Sheri to connect, she has to connect on the 5K band, but now her Smart TV is connected, her Smartphone connects, my Alexa connects, and my laptop does too.  Alexa and the laptop can connect on the 2.4K band.  Sheri brought me some pizza tonight too.

I seem to have missed a lot. I didn't realize I had skipped so many days.

I've been taxi for two grandkids who work at Meijer. Daughter's Crown Victoria
is in the shop. Those old cars are nice, but not easy to get repaired.
I do not like Daylight savings time. Studies show that children suffer from the change
in their routine. I believe adults do also.
Today was cold. Brrrr, I'm ready for warm days.

Actually, ALL car's repairs take time.  The mechanics used to go by standardized time according to the Chilton repair manual.  I know that from when I worked on cars, a millenium ago.

Yesterday was the Ides of March. (The Ides of March is the 74th day in the Roman calendar, corresponding to 15 March. Got a lot of stuff done- Had my new router installed, Alexa and smart plug paired up with it, also Sheri's phone and smart TV.  Figured out the lost signal on my TV, and straightened that out, and, after we had Sheri's stuff connected, and the tech left, I asked Sheri if I could stay and talk a bit.  She replied Sure!, so I sat on the couch by her (socially distanced of course), and we talked for quite a while, before I edged toward the door, saying "I've got to get out of here".  (Didn't want to overstay my welcome.)

You can stay as long as you like LFF......afterall I am the one who sometimes neglects are beautiful forum......I am a very fortunate lady to have such nice members at SATW!  Very thankful!

Today is a beautiful day......I have two windows slightly opened right now.  Fresh air smells great!

Took Chipper downtown for a walk, went to Village Markup, including a package of Dixie paper plates (the good ones) which I brought over to Sheri's, seeing that she's brought over pizza on paper plates twice.

Happy St. Patrick's day all!  I've already had  my mug of Killian's Red.   I'm kidding!
I should call and schedule Chipper's rabies shot, and my retinal exam today.  We'll see if I do.

 Boy oh boy, if that doesn't sound like me!

I filled the gas tank on my car right across the street,
went to Meijer, half s mile south of the gas station. I
returned 5 nutrition bars which were bought by mistake.
Larabars are $1.00 each with the 11th one free. 
Ray chose 5 Larabars and 5 of a different brand alongside.
I corrected the mistake, cashier was very nice about it.

I'm supposed to spend the afternoon with Chuck, Colleen
at Lake Erie I think. I told them, No Killian's Red for me.
Not while taking medication.
   

No alcohol for me, period!

Last year I drank beer in honor of my dearly departed
Mom in law because she always had a drink on St. Patrick's Day.

While at Point Moullie (Spelling is incorrect)
we saw a baby Muskrat swimming, a few tadpoles, 
a wee snake, tunnels dug by Groundhogs at the base
of buildings. It was nice to get out in nature.

I like watching nature.

Right now I/m tired enough to just sit back and watch.

Slept in this morning, after Chipper had me up at 12:30.  Saw Sheri out there.  As I was bringing Chipper back in, she was bringing Princeton (Her little dog) out .  I couldn't walk with her because Chipper and Princeton don't get along at all!  Will be leaving here shortly to take Chipper for his grooming.

Little Chuckie only gets along with a little female two doors away.
Speaking of Little Chuckie, I will be visiting him soon.
We had enough rain to save a small amount for gardening.
Then off to Kroger to see if they have Abound doggie treats. 
He is almost out of the ones we give him.

Yes, Joyous- both males about the same size, but Chipper is 14, and Princeton is 2.  Had Chipper groomed today.

March 19 today!  Spring is on the way!  Have to put my hanging basket out today!
Put a shopping cart (courtesy of Dollar General) outside Sheri's old apartment this morning, so I can use that to help her get the rest of her stuff out today.  She had asked for my help yesterday, and she didn't come get me last night.  Maybe when she gets up this morning, she'll see the shopping cart, and realize I put it there.
Other than that, I've cleared my calendar for today.  Called yesterday to schedule a retinal eye exam for me, and a rabies shot for Chipper, and I can't get appointments till late April.

LFF, you are SO thoughtful.

It is cold and windy here today also but at least the sun has shone all day after several days of heavy rain and thunder.

Son and I went shopping today.  First we needed to go to Aldis then after that went to Menards to buy a new washer.  Part of my stimulus went for that.  Glad I had the money.  Dryer was still ok thank goodness or all of the stimulus  would have been gone.  They do not make appliances like they use to.  This washer is a Maytag and says made in America on a sticker.  So I place part of my stimulus back into the economy.  My old washer was about to stop running and leaking.  It was purchased as a set in 2016.  I did not buy the extended warranty for I did that the last time and it ran out a year ago so.......wasted that extra money.  The same washer cost $125 more at Lowes and Menards will send me a 11% rebate.  So in the long run the rebate pays the sales tax.

Sorry to hear about the washer, Joyous.  Glad you got the stimulus!  Haven't got mine yet.

I think today might be a nice day to take Chipper for a walk.  I'm not in a big hurry to do much yet..
Dawn will be out this afternoon.  Don't know what time.

Took chipper for a nice walk yesterday.  Dawn came out about 2, and we went to Village Markup for frozen fish and fries, which Dawn baked, after I grilled Chipper's supper, and got out of the kitchen. (I have a small kitchen):

Slept well last night, Chipper woke me at 6:41 to go out, and after I take Dawn home today, I'll be going out to my Mom's.

Glad, Maytag is a well made machine. 
We had to replace our old SpeedQueen recently.
I think we went to ABC and fortunately bought 
the only SpeedQueen left without all the modern
automatic stuff. I wouldn't mind having a wringer
washer.
I didn't get a stimulus check yet. I am glad to hear
that someone I know got one.
Today: A load of laundry, so far two trips taking Grands
to their jobs. Soon too pick up one. Back about 11:00 
for the other.
Also visited Little Chuckie.

You're starting to sound like I used to be, Joyous- running people here, running people there.  It gets old after a while.  Why does all this fall on your shoulders?

Here it is March 22 already.  Dawn had received an email last week, saying she was eligible for a covid vaccine, and when I called to set up an appointment, the only ones available were in Ludington or Reed City- 3 to 4 hours away, so as suggested, I called this morning.  Set up an appointment in Zeeland- 45 minutes from Dawn's apartment this Thursday.  Yes.  I'll be taking her there.  Also set up appointment for second shot on April 22.
Will be taking Chipper for a walk later today.  Don't know what else I'll do.

LFF, because daughter's car has been in the repair shop
and there is nobody else to make sure the kids get to work. 
They would walk, but traffic on Telegraph is awful and perverts
are always on the lookout for a beautiful, young girl. Today my
daughter got her car back and guess who is sitting home tonight!

I'm truthfully thankful that their mom has her car
and will be the taxi now.

I'm up early this morning.  The little pink guy woke me at 4:30, so I took care of his needs, and then took Chipper out.  I might lie down a bit later, but not too late, as I'm going to Zeeland at about 9:30 to check out where I have to take Dawn tomorrow for her covid shot.  Then, I plan on stopping by Shoe Carnival to look for some sandals.  Going to give my friend Tim a call, and we might meet for lunch.

I scrubbed the kitchen and one bathroom floor.
Seeded some peat pellets with tomato, lettuce, 
cucumber, kohlrabi, spinach seeds. When they're 
(hopefully)big enough, I will transfer the small 
plants into larger peat pots and eventually into
the garden.
I visited the wee dog. During my visit, dark clouds
came across our park, slightly high winds, Little
Chuckie didn't want his usual routine. He stood by
the storm door, then looked up at the windows,
wondering where his Chuck was.(Chuck was fishing)
I did soothe him enough by brushing his coat/hair.
As soon as the threat was over, he settled down.

Dogs have a sixth sense about the weather,  Hope Chuck is okay.
I didn't hear from Sheri last night, so will go up about 11:30, and check her door to see if it's unlocked so I can take Princeton out.  Will leave about 12:30 to take Dawn for her Covid shot.  Will take her home afterward, and take Chipper to the park in Otsego.  Have no other plans today.
