I picked some lettuce yesterday afternoon.
Looks like that will be the consistency of the fall garden.
Nothing else seemed to want to come up except I noticed a few potatoes sprouting up here and there. May not have time to make now but will leave them.

My computer tells me it is 44 but the last post showed 50. Either way it is chilly this morning.

Why buy when you have your own for free??

Actually you can take a sweet potato and put it in a small amount of water and allow it to form roots.

Then over the potato it will grow its own slits.

No LFF.

Just for tomorrow.

My brother and sister in law are taking my daughter to St Louis this evening.
The appointment is at Barnes hospital at 9 am so they will go tonight. (2 1/2 hour drive from here)

Right now I am fearing the worse.  Not much has been told me but daughter is at the local hospital here getting pre-op and that scares me.  Pre-op to me says operation??  They are saying the mass is suspicious and St Louis is better equipped. Sounds to me it must be early stages of cancer. Guess I will know tomorrow evening.  I am scared and I think that is why daughter mainly wants me her to look after the kids instead of there with her.  I would come unglued for sure if I went. rdrop

Yes. That means operation- maybe to remove the mass. Then, if is is cancerous, hopefully, they'll get it all. Just pray, as we are doing, and try not to show your fears to the kids.

Daughter is on her way to St Louis.

And I need to verify an error on my part.....daughter is a home health care provider and it was her client that was at pre-op for a procedure the client is having done next week. So this means I misled you. I am thankful we are not at the stage of pre-op for my daughter. Hopefully they will find no reason for operating and there will be no cancer found.

Daughter had not made her self clear to me. This upsets me that I have misunderstood her.
