Was snowing as I headed back from taking Dawn to Plainwell.  Decided to just go home instead of to Holland to see my Mom.  On the way home, snow changed to rain.

Odd weather this year.

Getting a bit nasty out there.  I was on my way yo Holland to see my Mom, when I turned around over half the way there, as the wind and snow kept getting worse.  I kept thinking 'How will it be when I head home in a couple of hours?'

We have storm Barra here. High winds and driving rain. The west is getting the worst battering and that includes Ireland Many properties damaged and trees down. Some people in Scotland have been without power for ten days. Very hard for them.

Thanks LFF, I will keep an eye out for that.

58F/14C here in Michigan at 5:30 a.m. on December 11!  Wierd weather for us, but temperatures should start falling, as our forecast says

Horrific weather last night in Arkansas, Missouri, Illinois and Kentucky.  Possibly the deadliest in US History.  Currently in Alabama and Tennessee and may affect the Carolinas and the deep south later today.

There were gusts where my Sister lives in Douglas of 72 Mph.  Winds reached only about 50 here.

It’s 11 degrees here about 52 F so not cold for December. Very overcast but not raining. Will go out for a walk later this morning. Monday is cleaning day for us.

I went out early to Kroger to buy Progresso soup.
The very large Kroger, which I rarely go to, had
the soup I couldn't get at our nearby Kroger.
I bought 10 cans at .99 cents per can. Good to 
have on hand when we cannot think of a meal
plan.
I stopped to pay my son's phone bill as he was 
on the road, making deliveries.
It's a lovely day and I will soon be seeing Little
Chuckie!
