Doing my laundry today.  I don't plan on doing much else

Good morning to all. No plans for today. I have spent a few hours trying to untangle my email notifications for my board, gmail does this every few months.

I am resting today but should do a load of laundry.  I would like to finish the project I started the other day (deep cleaning a room) but bones ache too much so I will rest instead.

It's a lovely sunny morning. I've got the chores inside out of the way. In a little while I am going to go outside and attempt to mow the lawn.

Hope you feel better soon Glad, I did a load of laundry this morning too and then cleaned the bedroom. I had to have a sit down and cup of tea afterwards. Getting old I guess!

Took Chipper to Plainwell, then to my Sister's in Douglas, back to Plainwell, and home again, Jiggety jig.  Chipper likes car rides.

Hope you can afford the gasoline LFF.

Over the past 3 days, I've averaged 38.2 mpg in combined city and Hwy.

That’s not bad LFF, our gas here is now £1.89 a litre.
That’s about £9 per gallon. People here in the UK are fed up.

We have a few clouds this morning. If it doesn't rain, then later after the dew dries from the grass, I will get the riding mower out and see how it does. We had to put a new belt on it yesterday with our son's help. He donated the mower to us, as he got a new one. It's 12 years old, but as long as it runs, and cuts, that'a all I look for.

Glad to hear it, Windwalker!  I went to Judy's restaurant for breakfast with Michelle, to autoZone to get her brake light bulb replaced, took her car through the car wash, and came home to Chipper!

No plans for today, just take it as it comes. I hope everyone has a great Saturday. No rain forecast for today.

Hip's hurtin' bad today, but taking off shortly to Meijer's for a Carhartt sale.

Received a call from Ascension at Home about my home care after my surgery.  Had to call them back and leave a message.

It has turned off really hot in these parts. We had a nice extended Spring, but when it decided it needed to become Summer, it did it all at once.

Talked to Ascension At Home on the phone this morning.  They plan on being here the day after I get home.

Mornin all!  I won't be here long this morning, or the rest of the day, maybe not tomorrow too.  Michelle will be picking me up in a bit, and taking me to the hospital for my hip replacement.  If all goes well, I'll be home later today.  Yup.  We'll see how it goes....

Thinking of you LFF and sending prayers for a good outcome. Hope the operation goes well and you are soon home and walking about. Very best wishes.

Morning to everyone. We got the couch outside and moved the chairs, two recliners, into the living room. The couch will go to the donation center. It's a decent one, but the kids were getting new furniture, so donated these to us.

Just messaged LFF on phone.....I will let you all know if he reaches back to me.  I prayed for him this morning.

It was a real hot day yesterday. 104 heat index and muggy. We were still at 82F when I checked this morning around 3am. It's Summer in the South once again.

I went early to the grocery store....back home by 9 am.  Only went to one store because it was so hot!

Glad you're okay, Jackie!  I'm feeling sick to my stomach right now.

Well, we made 99F yesterday, with a heat index of 106F. I'm hoping for a cooler day today. I'm not much for the heat anymore. At least in the Winter, you can pretty much put on enough to stay warm. But Summer, you can't take off enough to get cool, or you go to jail. LOL.

I hope everyone gets to feeling better soon. No fun at all feeling ill, or hurting.

Had to pee in a bucket 3 times during the night.  Things are not improving much.  Have 2 therapists coming out today.

Still very blustery and chilly outside but at least it looks like the rain has moved on. Yesterday I had miniature lakes in my yard but everything has soaked in now.

LFF,  I'm not surprised you are feeling sick to your tummy.  You've had a lot of drugs used for your operation.  And, if it were me not knowing what to expect from therapists and the near future, I'd be sick and nervous and scared!

I kinda went AWOL today but couldn't let the night slip by and not come in to check out things.  

I went to the pharmacy this morning after I renewed my drivers license.  $21 for the license and $316 for meds and I had already been once this month to the pharmacy.  Now I am needing gas in my truck so guess that will be another $100.  Guess I am made of money these days.  

I stayed in most of the afternoon and did some indoor chores.

I' ve had Chipper since he was 8 weeks old.  Now, at 15 and a half, he's gone to the Rainbow Bridge.  He hadn't been eating for the last few days.  I thought it was just the heat.  He was staying close to me since my hip replacement 3 days ago.  He was sleeping next to me when he died last night.  Didn't give any sign that he was sick.
I guess I'll be keeping  the picture of him in my signature for a while...

Storm knocked out power for 6 hours last night. They finally repaired the broken wires at 3am. Boy am I tired.

We had storms here, and thousands lost power, but we didn't here.
Not planning on doing much today.

LFF, I am so sorry about Chipper.  Please keep his picture on here.  

I just wished you a happy birthday.  So sorry it happened on your birthday.
