Here we are, with a brand new year, and bright hopes for the future!
Irritabelle woke me at 4 this morning.  Took Chipper outside, brought him back in, and met Sheri in the hallway.  She then went inside, and cut me four pieces of banana bread with butter, which I had for breakfast.
Now 6a.m..  Think I'll lie back down for a bit.

Happy New Year LFF and Chipper!  May 2021 bring you many memories of joy and comfort!

Actually, I'm going through old  photos I found in my storage closet.

2021 is now the date we must remember when signing
anything of importance. I never write checks, but if you
do, you may find yourself  looking at 2020 and writing
a new check.
I needed a Notary for sign a legal paper. Nothing is open.
We used to have a Notary here in our trailer park. Not now.

New Year's day is over!  Here we are with January 2nd.  2021 is looking a lot like 2020.
Had to get my big humidifier out, and found it's not working.  Hooked up me little coke bottle humidifier, and it's working, but doesn't have a very powerful fan, so I guess I'll have to get a new one.
I'll be picking up Dawn in Otsego at 1 this afternoon.  She'll come here, spend the night, make some mac and cheese, go to church tomorrow, and I'll take her home tomorrow.

Speaking of locked out......I was locked out of my bank because I checked the status of the stimulus too many times yesterday.  I got it fixed this morning after worrying all night about it.  Password is changed now.

Ain't seen a stimulus here yet.  If a transaction over $100 is done to my account, I receive an email.  Can you set that up on your account?

online. I did a survey online for Kohl's, won a set of earbuds.
I had an automated phone call immediately from my bank.
I called their main office telling what took place. The young
lady issued a new debit card. I cut the old one in quarters
and threw it away.
I would say the scammers should just get a job, but due to
the China virus, jobs are scarce as hen's teeth.

Glad, I know someone who got the $600.00.
As far as I know I don't have it, but it could be there.
I had to destroy my debit card, (Explained above, I think?)

I pray GOD will speak to the minds and hearts of the Senate and 
will strengthen our President and all who respect and care for him.
WE really, really need him for 4 more years.

LFF, I mainly use it to get funds from the ATM.
I usually pay with cash. My bank is sending a new card.
I destroyed the old one, which wasn't very old. I like that
my bank catches scams quickly. I did the survey because it said Kohl's
and I have a Kohl's card. People will try any way they can to take any
money they can.
My old car is long ago paid cash for. Thankfully.

What can I say, about today, Hey Hey?  Today is Sunday, January 3- we're about 2 and a half months to Spring!  Will be taking Dawn home at about noon, then will be heading out to my Mom's.  The twin diffusers I ordered should arrive today.  Will set one by the door, and one by my desk, to raise the humidity a bit here in the apartment.  Will not add any aroma packets to them, as I don't know how they would affect Chipper.

Can't wait till garden time!  Although I must chat with the neighbors across the street about their chickens.  They moved there this past fall and let their chickens free range which I have no problem with them being in my yard but I have seen them pecking in my garden spot (even the high rise garden) and I can't have them one day pecking out my seeds.

I can see where that could be a problem.  May have to put chicken fencing around the garden.  Maybe your neighbors will help pay for it.

Glad, I was only thinking of the free chicken manure you would get.
They might also peck your tomatoes. If they're good neighbors, they
will cooperate in finding a solution.
I too am thinking of the garden. I will order seed as soon as I remember

He's so important to me.  Have has him since he was 8 weeks old.  He's 14 years old now.

My son was given Little Chuckie when he was just weaned, He could
barely get into his cardboard box bed.

Washed my outerwear. Swept the kitchen floor.
Observed the birds at the feeder and the suet block. 
Also the Alpha squirrel chasing 4 others away from 
the seeds that fall from the Bird feeder. Then he, or 
she, jumped on the huge trash receptacle, onto the 
patio-wall, peering into the recycle bags, on to a 
very large trash bag, peering down into it, asking himself,
"I know I can get in, but can I get out again?" "Is there
anything in it to make it worth the risk?"
Having determined that food must be available elsewhere,
he ran off to join his family.

Took Chipper for a walk downtown, stopped at the Grocery Outlet- they were out of the peach Faygo.  Filled my tank with gas, took a night stand to Good Will for Sheri, and stopped in at the office here, met our new manager.

I sure feel lazy this morning.  Slept in till 7.  Took Chipper out, came in and took my vitals, puttering around with stuff on my desk here...  I have 2 recliners here calling my name...

I need to buy a recliner.  Maybe if we get a $2000 check??

Right now I am struggling paying vehicle insurance.  Dec was real-estate taxes.....Jan vehicle insurance and Feb homeowner insurance on top of having to pay $60 for the privilege of buying medicine for 2021 plus a $94 deductible the first time I go to the pharmacy this year.  Never ends seems like.

I do get about 80% of my real-estate tax back when I file my w2 next month which helps a bunch.

I didn't turn in till after midnight last night (this morning?).  Then Chipper woke me at 4 with his noisy toy, which, at first, I thought was my alarm.  I looked at the clock on my microwave, and asked Alexa what time my alarm was set for.  She replied "You don't have any alarms set.".  So I took Chipper outside for about 20 minutes, and just stayed up.
I have to go downtown at about 11 this morning, and get some frozen burgers for Chipper from Schaendorf Cattle Company store, located at Schaendorf Brewing here in Allegan.   I'm down to my last one.  I grille him a burger for supper each day.  He loves 'em!  I don't have a whole lot else planned today, maybe take Chipper for a walk downtown, when I pick up his burgers.  When I get my emails and stuff caught up, I may make some French Toast.

Oh my goodness, maybe I'm blessed to not own property.
Taxes! However, the people who own this trailer park pay 
taxes and pass it along to us because we rent the ground 
which our trailer occupies. We have for always paid for city 
water. Now a consortium will read the meters, send us a bill,
if anything goes wrong, it's our responsibility. I think we should
fight the responsibility beyond the meters. 
A cousin in South Carolina and his wife went to Great Britain,
delved into our family history, created a rather large collection
of genealogy, sent a copy to me. A lot I already knew, but not 
that our maternal ancestors immigrated from Derbyshire, England.

BCBS sent a gift card for $50.00 which I can use over the counter
(OTC) items, even health food. Meijer doesn't honor it, so off to
Walmart.

Our Priority Health gives us a 'healthy benefits' card, with $25 every 3 months for OTC stuff that we can order with free  2 day shipping, plus we have access to $70 in coupons on foods that are expensive, and I don't eat.  I've used the benefits over the last year to purchase Aspirins, cough drops, antacids, hand sanitizer, and an oral thermometer.
 I like our new manager.  She likes animals, doesn't like people who don't clean up after them, and is not above looking through the trash of people who abuse the privilege of our having a big dumpster that gets emptied 3 times a week.
I'm taking off with Chipper to get his burgers.

I don't know if they changed it. I haven't used BCBS except 
once 2 years ago. Less than $100.00 I think.

Bought 12 pounds of frozen Schaendorf burgers yesterday for Chipper.  Only had room in the freezer for 11 pounds, so had to put a pound in the fridge to thaw.  (I grill them from a thawed state.)
Today, I either have post nasal drip, or a swelled epiglottis.  I woke this morning with a difficulty swallowing.  Called Dr. Jim Bob from the Appalachians, and he asked if I'd had this before.  When I said yes, he said "Well, you've got it again!"

Doctor Jim Bob missed his calling.
He should be a Clairvoyant.

Glad, personally, I am sick of the Democrat party.
Fact: There was fraud in the 2020 election.
A Conservative Election worker in Detroit, on election saw suspicious
things happening during the ballot count. When she mentioned this
to someone in charge, she was threatened, her home address was
made public, her daughter's school was revealed and the woman's 
place of work was revealed. She feared for her daughter and for herself.
She filed a lawsuit. There was video of boxes of ballots being taken
out from beneath tables hours after Observers were sent home.

I see no mention of this on the news, nor of the Antifa members at the demonstration yesterday

This morning, there suggestion on the news that XR Vision identified antifa individuals.
Today, when I take Chipper out for a walk, I'm tempted to drive out to walmart.   Instead of 12 ounce cans of Diet Dew, I'm trying out purchasing my Dew in 2 liter bottles, as I purchased a 40 oz. carafe to pour my dew in, and leave on my desk.  When I figure in the bottle or can deposit that we have to pay here, the cans and bottles cost about the same, but if I figure in the convenience, the 2 liter bottles win, hands-down.  
Right now, I don't feel like doing anything.

Took Chipper to downtown Allegan yesterday.  Didn't go to walmart.  Went to Village Markup here in Allegan instead because their Diet Dew 2 liters were only 21 cents more than walmart's.  So 8 bottles was only $1.68 more.  Of course, I ended up buying more stuff than that, but I would have done that at walmart too, I'm sure.
Today, after taking Chipper out at 2:30 (The little pink guy woke me), and at 6:30 (Chipper pawed at my chair.), I had peaches and cream oatmeal for breakfast, and will pick up Dawn at 2 p.m.  No other plans as yet,

Saw my Mom yesterday.  My Sister and I visited, and played a game of marbles with her.  Dawn made meat loaf last night with some off-color hamburger I'd bought Friday at 1.59 a pound (Manager's special).
Today, I'll be taking Dawn home.  Probably will take Chipper along and go for a little walk in Allegan's 'social district', where people are allowed to consume alcoholic beverages that are purchased a Schaendorf brewing, and carried in an approved Allegan City dixie cup..

I took Dawn home, took Chipper for a productive jaunt through Brookside park in Otsego, and came home.  We have snow in the air.

Actually, although we call it Marbles, it's like Parcheesi game, played with marbles and decks of cards.  Our boards are special to us because my Dad made them.  This image shows dice rather than cards:

Schools around here are closing because of the freezing rain predicted.  (Even for those students going to school virtually)  Dawn will be taking the bus here this morning for a telehealth appointment on my computer.  Then, I'll be taking her to a meeting at noon, and she'll be getting a ride home, I think.
