I gave my Mom some real roses that were dipped in silver 50 years ago.  My Mom kept them all these years.

Gave the roses to Sheri today.    Thought it was the least I could do. after she's done my laundry numerous times, cleaned my apartment for me, and made dinner for me numerous times.  I'd told her I had something for her, so she asked me to leave it outside her door.  Couple minutes later, she called and asked me to come up and take them back.  That she'd leave them outside the door for me.  She said she already has enough clutter in her apartment.   If that ain't a kick in the teeth.  I'm temptedto give them to Michelle, and tell her if she doesn't want them, to give them to her Mom for Mother's Day.

I wound up having some help moving the furniture, so that chore is done. Now to tackle the shop when the weather gets better.

Went to Plainwell this morning.  Seeing Michelle is a boost to my spirits!

Today off to the supermarket so be glad when that is finished.

Today was a lazy day for me.....tomorrow I go for my annual dermatologist appointment.  Hope they find nothing new this year.

Hope it goes well, Glad.  You know, the Epidermis is our largest organ.

They can't make up their minds if it's 'going to rain, or not. Doesn't matter to me, we got our errands out of the way yesterday,

we got rain all night but sunny right now.....I am headed out to the skin doctor appointment soon so glad the sun is out

Looks like an all day rain here.  I started  my Diclofenac today.  Seems to be helping with my hip.  Also started my new Bupropion dosage.  I'm not jittery or anxious or anything bad.  Will call about my vacuum today.

I have probably 10 or so freezes to my arms and legs and one on my forehead.  Nothing on my back this year.  Don't have to go back until next May.  Yes!

Middle of the week, Hump Day, all down hill from here as they say. I have no plans that I can think of, so that means a free day! I hope everyone enjoys this day we have.

Two ladies and myself are visiting a shut in today bringing KY Fried Chicken and celebrating her 88th birthday which was yesterday.

Just got back from working at my Mom's.  We're ready to list the house, I think.

Well done LFF that has been a lot of work for you and it must have brought back memories.
We flew out to Spain on Monday, and it went better than we hoped, customs sticky in Spain , they don’t like Brexit! We have not been to the house for three years and had a cleaner in recommended by neighbours. The house looked clean but against our instructions had clearedmout the kitchen and has stolen a load of stuff from our bedroom, clothes and two handbags plus money. What is worrying is the bag taken had my house keys in it so she can get back in, we have to change all the door locks. On top of that our car was in a total mess and needed the check for the government as it’s old. We managed to get our mechanic to help and he was marvellous and upgraded the car and got us through the test. The car is seventeen years old but goes well.
Weather here was sunny Tuesday but cold and raining yesterday, sun coming out today and it’s a bit warmer.
The thieving cleaner said the cost would be €150 but has charged us €420 which is ridiculous, I spent yesterday clearing up the mess she had made. Bad start to our holiday but we are writing it off to experience. Had to WiFi fitted yesterday so I am back on line.

Declined an invitation to hang out with Michelle this morning.  Hanging around home today.

Spring is here. Windwalker.  We might get summer weather next week, they say.  66 today, maybe low 80's next week.

It’s 68F here and warm in the sun but there is a lot of cloud about, sun sporadic. Relaxing and beginning to enjoy the holiday.

After a warm day yesterday, the high today, should be 79F and clear. I have to check out the RAV today, it is missing and stuttering as you drive. I think it's time for new ignition coils.
I had to dig around in my electronics drawer, to find the OBD code reader to try and narrow down the problem.

Ran around with Michelle this morning- to convenience store, to Dawn's, to Meijer, back to Dawn's and to walmart.  Bought a new Dirt Devil vacuum.  Going out to my Mom's later.

Yea, it's pretty simple on this little truck. I'm thankful for that. We haven't had much trouble from it in the 5 or more years we've had it. One battery, and one upper radiator hose, and some tires.

Most cars are pretty reliable until they get old, ours here in Spain is seventeen years. When it was two years the tires were stolen and got replaced on the insurance. It’s still a good runner.

A bit late today....had a busy morning....just finished lunch-----pork steak, sweet potato, asparagus and some swiss chard.  Two green veggies but hey both were good and both from the garden.

So about 38000 miles.  My Dodge is 9 years old, and has 116,000miles/187,000 Kilometers.  Just had an oil change this past week.

I am getting lazy. I don't think I got anything constructive done yesterday. Well, I did make me a breakfast sandwich. One Egg fried well, one slice tomato, slice of cheese, round slice of ham, mayonnaise on toasted bread. My favorite,

Never had tomato on egg sandwich....sounds yummy!

Our car is going to have  the brakes done today and work on the boot.. seems to be running well though.
Our mechanic is excellent, been so helpful and got us back on the road.

Here we go with another day in whatever we call this world today.  It's after 6 a.m., and I haven't received a morning text yet.  I should go over and help my Sister today, after a day of rest, but I don't know.  My shoulders are hurting this morning, and my hands were numb this when I woke up....

Sounds like you need to rest LFF, maybe you slept on your hands and that caused numbness, my whole arm went like that once, thought it was a stroke but once up it normalised. Best wishes and hope you feel better soon.

A beautiful Monday starting out. 61F and the sun is about to rise. I have no plans for today.

It is starting out to be a good day.

Need to run a few errands (mostly getting out to purchase meds) and go to bank.  Wish my insulin would last longer it is rather expensive until around end of June.  But that is about 6 weeks away now so not so bad I guess.

I laid around a lot yesterday with joints hurting but this morning it is all better.
