Hi, anyone is welcome to play the arcade. Membership in the forum, is just to keep spammers from playing. There is no requirement to post on the forum, but you are free to do so if you want. I'm real glad that you like it, Glad. It can be relaxing, No pressure to compete with anyone but yourself. 

We had some storms last night, but no bad wind in our area. Looks like Mississippi will get pounded today, though.

Glad, if they've done all that, and it still randomly quits, then my best guess would be the main computer. Our Durango started that when we had it years ago. At a certain temperature, apparently a component would fail, and it would just cut off. They can be expensive, but maybe if they feel it might help, they could give you a discount for all the work you've given them. I bought a used one offline, and installed it myself. They programmed it prior to sipping. It lasted about 5 years more.

Son was off today and he took me to Walmart.  Daughter will take me to Aldi tomorrow.  I should be fine for groceries then.

I went to aldi twice yesterday, and walmart once.

Going to be an interesting day, I guess. It is warm this morning, 62F. A line of strong storms marching this way from Mississippi should be here in about an hour or less. Some of it looks intense. Just hope there are no tornados spawned from it. The rain is enough.

Thankful for the THAW. We had a plumber scheduled to come out yesterday.
I went outside, saw water ankle deep, snow melted, knew Plumber would need a raft to get to the crock wherein lie the heat tapes we needed checked. I called them, postponed the appointment;

My daughter and I visited my son Kelly. He was SO thankful for an hour with people who care about him. He has never lived alone before. He wishes to leave everything the way Amy had it. I want SO badly to straighten, clean, etc. His house so leave things alone. (Amy was a neatnick.

Had big plans today: Fast for 10 hours last night, have blood drawn this morning, go work out at the gym, drop a letter off at the post office,,, Didn't get anything done. I forgot today is Saturday! Lab was closed, gym was packed! Came home and made french toast, and now I have laundry in the washer.

Glad, I suppose the mechanic checked the battery?
I paid a local business owner due to the fact my wagon
wouldn't start without a jump-start. Problem supposedly
fixed, drove the wagon home. Next time I needed to go
it wouldn't start. My son said, "Battery drain." 
He attached a gizmo to the battery, I turn the little wheel, 
starts, when I come home, I pop the hood, turn the wheel 
to off. The little gizmo cost me either $10.00 or $15.00.
Yes, it can be annoying to turn it after the wagon has sat
for more than a few hours. However it doesn't cost the
price of a mechanic.
I'm off to visit my little dog friend.

Dawn is doing well at the group home. She's still seeing Kevin. I don't visit her as she's an hour away.

I know your pain, Glad. I bought a brand new around 1984, it went to the shop 13 times in 3 months, because the lights would flicker driving down the road. They replaced wiring, Battery, all sorts of "repairs". I finally had enough, went to the general manager, and told him I had told the service department numerous times, that I thought it would simply be the switch for the headlights. Turns out it was. I ended up telling him I didn't want the car ithey had that bad of service. 

I embarrassed them so bad, that they offered me another brand-new vehicle in exchange. No money needed. I picked out an Isuzu Trooper. Never had a problem with it in 6 years I had it. As a matter of fact, they were so eager to fix the bad public relations, that the morning my wife was to go pickup the other vehicle. She stopped at a Hardees for a biscuit, and another driver backed hard into the side door of the Thunderbird. I figured there would be money involved then for the trade, but the guy fell all over himself, told me not to worry about it, just bring the car and the deal would be done. 

I hope they find your problem.

Sorry Glad, when things go wrong with your car it’s so expensive. As they age like us they deteriorate. Hope you can get it sorted. Xx

Since we do everything together, (no, we're not going to move in together)we're thinking about selling both our cars, and getting a newer one.

Thank you friends.....this is the worst bout of depression I have ever had and no I will not tell the doctor......I am a walking pharmacy as it is and do not want anymore pills.  They seem to think pills are the answer to everything.

I did not feel up to going to church this morning and that is bad for me.

I am cooking cabbage and sausage for  lunch.  House smells good.  I will make some instant potatoes (so I won't have to peel potatoes).

Glad, I made mash recently and washed potatoes and then boiled them with skins on. Then I mashed them with milk and salt and they tasted lovely. I’m not peeling again.
Sorry you’re depressed, horrible way to be but you’ve had a lot of stress recently. Will pray for you. Try and watch something funny on the tv. Laughter helps!

Glad, my car battery isn't old. It's something draining the battery. 
The attachment allows the battery to only be used when the gadget
 is turned on. I will find out what it is named and you may wish to try it.

I'm not  a football fan. I will however be watching the game this 
afternoon because Detroit could use a winner.

LFF, because Dawn was a large part of your life
it's good to know she is doing ok. May the good Lord bless
and keep her safe and healthy.

" well pills dont or wont make our problems go away, such as the sudden loss of my hubby, my PP-MS diagnoses...antidepressant's wont bring him back nor make my Multiple Sclerosis go away...

I take Bupropion for my mood, and I have for so long, I don't know how I'd be if I quit taking it.

Cheer up, Glad. All of us are here for you. Positive thought goes a really long way. So does that cabbage and sausage!

If I had cabbage and sausage here, it wouldn't go far. It would be a short trip down my esophagus!

the best solution. God never fails to answer my prayers.

I received a call from the eye doctor's about an hour before my appointment today- had to be rescheduled.

I’ve had flu now for a month. This strain makes you ill, clears up and then returns. I’ve only been out the house once in four weeks. Horrible illness, don’t catch it.
I’m going to Fuerteventura for a fortnight on the 17 th February and looking forward to some sun. Flight is 4.5 hours, never been there before.

It's great that you can go to rest. That's too bad about the flu. Rest, keep warm, and drink fluids.

2Anne there is a lady (early fifties) at my church who has been sick since November.  One cold after another.

I am afraid if I do not knock this depressed state I am in I will get sick.  My immune system is probably down.

I'm up too early. Think I'll try for another few winks.

We picked up Sheri's Grand Niece last night. She's about 5, such a cutie! But I couldn't understand 80% of what she said. We'll be taking her to the store with us today.

Seems like a lot of people are sick....hope spring will be here soon.

Thankss 2Anne.  Just do not want any more pills to have to take.  I am on enough now with diabetes, cholesterol, blood pressure and all the vitamins I take. Enough is enough.

I am feeling better today.  I refuse to give up my daily Bible study and God will see me through this.  I will ask someone to take me to church on Sunday.  My pride was standing in my way I guess.

You got this, Glad. Turn to your church, friends, anything that is brighter than the worries. Sometimes we're just angry at life and don't even realize it. All the problems, such as your truck, can make you angry inside at just the frustration.

Remember, many people say, “Depression, many times, is anger turned inward.”

I too play online card games, it too eases my almost five year depression...

Now I've gotten hooked on online slots.

I tend to get started and find myself there two hours later. I nearly need a plank, to pry myself away.
