It was supposed to rain, 100% yesterday. It was bright and sunny all day. Go figure. The grass is growing again, so I will get to see if the riding mower is fixed right by me.

Sheri will be going to her Mom's today to clean the room where her Mom's dialysis machine is supposed to go.  I might do some straightening up, do my laundry...

Today I ordered some stuff from the OTC department at my medicare provider.  Got compression socks, a heat wrap for my shoulder,  apill dispenser, some mucinex, and 3 bottles of pink bismuth.  I still have $20 on my account to use before August first.

LFF I purchased 4 new pill dispensers from the dollar tree and cannot use them with the numbness in my finger tips.  They are each for one full week morning and night.  If you want them I could send them to you.

I bought 6 packages of little plastic containers 10 count  each which are easier to open for me.  They come in round and square.  The round I use for day pills the square I use for night.  I put the day of the week on each top.  Seems to be working ok for me.

Forecast, is for a beautiful day, today. I can do just about anything I need to outside, without getting hot, or cold.

Sunny here and 16C, going for a walk but wind speed 28 mph. Hurricane Kathleen from the Emerald Isle.

Checked the radar, 2Anne, and I didn't see much in the way of rain there.  France, on the other hand looks like it's getting socked.

No, we have had no rain today LFF, but did have a huge amount earlier this year. On the West coast there’s flood alerts. Don’t check France.

Good evening all. Sorry for my delay in replying here. It's spring time in Iowa. Got p to 68 here but a bit windy. Got some much needed rain last night.

I'm sleeping later now. Of course, by the time of Fall and the time change comes around again, I'll be out of whack.

I have a question.  What is 'whack'?

Whack is a term for being out of commission or not working properly.

It sprinkled rain all night. Wasn't supposed to, but it did.

No rain here but looks like it will at some point soon.....very cloudy.

Yesterday it was sunny for the eclispe and I enjoyed watching it.  Gave you an weird feeling seeing it go completely black outside.

I'm supposed to go out for a walk every 2 hours, but there's a lot of work to be done.  Maybe I can get out today.

I have only one errand this morning. Then work on the bedroom floor. We pulled the carpet up, and I need to clean the tiles that are there. I will like the tiles better. If not, I will put vinyl down later.

Those tiles will be cold for your feet, on those frigid winter nights you have there!

Carpet is much harder to keep clean.....I too prefer tile

Tomorrow 11th April will be the 5th anniversary of my Richards death...also the exact same date when i was diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis just four years before his death...always a hard day to get through...

We had storms last night, nothing bad in our area. Lost power two times for about 5 seconds each, while it rerouted. We heard a transformer go out on the last one, but the power came back.

I started my laundry at 7, even though we're supposed to wait till 9, because I have loads of towels I was sopping up water with.  Have a load in the dryer that Ive washed, and one in the washer  I might  have a third load if Sheri doesn't need the dryer.

Sorry you had a water problem LFF.....hope all is ok now.

Glad the power was not off for very long Windwalker.

Carpet's still wet

Warmer this morning. It was a little cool last night. Looking at a high of 72F today, so that will be nice. I can continue moving things back to the bedroom and craft room.

16C and sunny here. Very busy at the present time , diary full until 27 th and then we go to Spain for a month 1 st May. We have decided to sell our house there and we are getting older. If anything happens to my husband I won’t cope. Sad as we’ve had it since 2001 and had many wonderful holidays. Big sort out.

2Anne I am thankful I have two sons living with me since their father died....it creates a few problems but we manage to work things out. A lot has to do with the oldest son who is challenged. 


I am on my way to the foot doctor and this is the first time with this doctor.  The other foot doctor went to doing only nursing homes.  I liked him and hope the replacement is as good.  Will let you know.
