Yes- especially since it's free with our NHS.
I use different pain reliever creams or gels.

Get well soon Nell. Getting old is no joke. Constant stream of pain and suffering I’m afraid. I now understand why elderly people used to say, Don’t get old!

Our NHS is not free...We had to pay into it through our working lives...National Health Contributions, it was - is taken out of wage packets from the employer..

If someone comes here illegally, they can get free health care, housing, all the food stamps you can use, and even a 10,000 credit card that you'll never have to pay back!

Same in the UK LFF, 500 new ones arrived today across the Channel on boats. Straight into hotels plus a phone, clothes and cash while our vets sleep rough. It’s an invasion. Government encouraging them. Should be sent to tents in the outer Hebrides, that would stop the attraction.

I'm all caught up around here, so may just be a lazy day. The weather will be wonderful with clear skies and in the low 80s F.

And they are fixated on building thousands and thousand of new homes...we now have so many nationalities in our location so they need to accommodate them...My late fathers philosophy was " look after our own people first "
It is so sad seeing new buildings going up in places we once knew...and famous shops- stores disappearing from our high streets..all the places we grew up with, now disappearing so they can build build ugly monstrosities..

Yes Jackie.  That's the way it should be- But the bleeding heart liberals tell us we should be the ones to give up  so much so we can accommodate these 'newcomers'.

LFF, I have arthritis in my right hand. It is painful all the
time. This pain is only in evening and night. Last night I
tried sleeping in bed, resorted to recliner where finally
slept.

most likely call me.

Sorry about your painful hand Nell, arthritis is a horrible affliction, if it’s stopping you sleeping the doc might be able to help. 
We have masses of house building in my town. People escaping the Southern invasion of aliens. The town infrastructure can’t cope. Even the private dentist is full up, GP’s overloaded as are all the schools.
Beautiful walks have been destroyed and wildlife ignored. It’s all very sad. London now has only 35% native Brits. Mayor is a Pakistani.

You, like us, will soon be required to house them in your own homes.

I hate Multiple Sclerosis

As we age all sorts of diseases afflict us. My main reliance for help is prayer. Every day there seems to be fresh illness or pain. Getting over 70 is not a lot of fun. I try not to talk about feeling ill as it’s boring for others , especially young people.

When we were young, we wished to be older.  Now that we're old, we wish we were younger.

2Anne, my hand doesn't hurt all the time, just when I use the index finger.
(Last night was pain free and I slept good. Praise the good Lord)
I believe we in these United States of America will object to housing illegals. 
This is our home. There may be H--- to pay if Govt tries forcing us.

Well I think the liberals who want the illegals here should take them into their homes.

Totally agree LFF, and. Financially support them.

I know how you feel. I never imagined feeling this rough at times. I don't talk about it either as it bores the young ones. I just tell them, "Your time is coming, enjoy it." and then I smile. I'm a walking wreck at 72, but at least I'm walking. So lets grin at each other and hope for the best.

Absolutely! When I was young, I wished I was retired, now I can't work, and wish I could.

There are some idiots, that are doing just that! On the news the other night, someone in New York took some in, and now they can't get them to leave, and having to evict them from their own home. 


I actually got hot and started sweating yesterday for the first time this year. I think we reached around 84F in the late afternoon. No rain, though, so that was nice.

Sorry to hear of your health problems Windwalker. Sounds like you’ve had a rough deal, keep praying, it really helps.
Some people in the UK took in Ukraine refugees. They couldn’t get rid of them either. They were not good guests, very demanding and some broke up marriages.

They should adapt to our lifestyles.

A lady in Detroit spent some time in Florida. She
came home to find squatters living in her house. 
The legal system told her she could NOT kick them out. 
That is just plain WRONG . When and how did wrong 
become right and right become wrong? 
That isn't the rules I was taught when I was growing up.

There used to be a problem with squatting in the UK, a law was brought in to make it illegal in domestic properties and the police would remove the squatters. Now they have moved onto business premises which is not covered by the law. They steal electricity and water and do incalculable damage.

Believe it or not I am beginning to understand that the more people take advantage the more they will.

I am getting tired of it too.

By the way Windwalker I have added you to my prayer list.  I had no idea some of the health issues you have.......it is no fun getting old.

I did laundry and worked in my garden some and swept the kitchen floor.  Then went to church tonight an that was relaxing and peaceful.

Over halfway through this month now. I wonder what May will bring us?

Laundry to do today, or help Michelle with it.

Our church " renew " group this morning, followed by church lunch club...At least two from our renew wellbeing group are in hospital..

Sometimes that happens, Nell. Some small dogs tend to be more temperamental when owners are around. I bet he'll love to see you next time!

Do you have more pictures of your China vacation?

I spent a large part of today driving around our Trailer Park 
trying to give away items from our shed which are very useable 
but things we no longer need. Almost everything was accepted.
I also planted some lettuce seed, some spinach seed, some Kale
seed. Gardening season has begun.

Dentist Hygienist in an hours time, awaiting disability booked car transport..not too far to travel, unlike yesterdays 20 mile trip to a hospital booked appointment..Be glad when i reach back home...cup of tea and something to eat...

Yesterday as I gave away the final item from our shed,
the neighbor lady was taking the space heater and told
me they had to end the life of Bailey, their dear, old dog
whom I also loved. I burst into tears. 
I have loved Bailey since first I met him. How painful it 
was for her and her husband. Bailey was a kind, gentle dog.
He kept walking even after he was in such pain.

Good morning to all. No plans today. The weather guessers have decided it might rain. I'm all caught up anyway.

It’s 6C here but feels like 1C with wind chill, not going out and have winter woolies on!
Had terrible pain in shoulder/ back area, running on paracetamol. Husband sorted me exercises which made it worse. Think it might be a torn muscle. Resting it for now.

Good Afternoon Beautiful Shouters.

I deep cleaned the top of my stove this morning.....took about 2 hours and I am now worn out.

Nice Sunny Day today.  Son needs to put up the hummingbird feeders. They are flying around the blooming plants and bushes now.

We are having left over chicken today....added noodles, celery and onions and made a casserole dish.  There is stove top stuffing and mashed potatoes left too.  Sounds like a lot of carbs but want to get the food gone today.

Your food sounds yummy Glad. We will miss you LFF.

a wide elastic support which helps, makes me feel so little pain.

We bought Geraniums today for the three large pots w use beside
the porch to display flowers. Two colors which go well together.

Thanks for prayers Nell, best cure ever. Pain been present for over a week and severe. My doc is so dismissive I can’t be bothered to contact her.

I have a feeling, it's going to be a great day. I hope all of you have a nice day as well. My office is back to normal, my shop is cleaned out and normal, and the grass has been cut.

A dear neighbor and her husband last week felt
they had no choice but to have their dear Bailey
put to eternal sleep. He was a big black Lab and
everyone loved him. The pain of seeing him suffer
was enough to convince them to part with him.

Today has been a lovely day. The cold last night seems to
have done no harm to our flowers, thankfully.
I hope each of you are reasonably content and comfortable.
