Continued prayers.......I see you saw the prayer thread for you.  Prayers are good!

Oh my goodness, the medical seems to be failing badly.
Finding a competent Doctor who actually cares about the
patient is more and more a challenge.

Sometimes you can find them, but they stay overbooked. Well, one errand done this morning, one more trip to town this afternoon.

Going to be another hot one. If I get anything done outside, it has to be early morning, or very late afternoon.

Same here Windwalker and boy does my area need rain badly.

Good afternoon all. We're under a Air Quality Alert here today. But we also need rain. Maybe tomorrow, suppose to be 50%. Otherwise next one is on Saturday.

Jackie, medical care actually does sound below even what we have here.
I best stop complaining, even though ours isn't near perfect.
We have been touched by a couple of deaths this past week. A brother
of one of my daughter in law, a fine man who was so easy to love. He
fought cancer for a few years, finally lost the battle.

Glad, we had good rain twice the past week. So very thankful. The
garden is showing the results.

We just might pop over the 100F mark today with heat index. Forecast is for 95F, but the humidity is terrible.

Today would have been a beauty had we not been in the
path of all the smoke and smog from Canada. I wore a mask 
while taking the little dog out and tried to wear it while picking
beans. Masks seem to annoy me. Therefore it ended up on the
fence post most of the time.
I started out to drive to Taylor to visit Amy and my son Kelly.
Amy had more bad news from her Big C doctor. Until today she
had been positive and keeping her sense of humor. After being
told they cannot hope to cure her, she pretty much gave in to
a death sentence. 
There is just TOO much Big C.

Been a while since I have visited. Taking a quick break to post a hello. I just got 2- 40lb bags of cat litter delivered. Managed to get one down the stairs and still have the other to go. Yes, I could get my son to it but I am not so decrepit yet that I can't do it.   Good thing I only have to do that every 3 months.

I will be doing the laundry this morning then looking forward to our afternoon walk.

Good to see you here Spice. Today we had some much needed a rain, finally. Suppose to get more tomorrow, Sat and Sunday. Also had some damaging winds and power was out, but not in our neighborhood.

Today was a lovely day.
 I believe we are promised rain one day soon.
I hope it isn't raining when Bruno's funeral is taking place.
Sad enough with sunshine.
Tomorrow is the viewing, followed by the Saturday funeral.

Yesterday my daughter, Gr.daughter and I went for Bruno's viewing.
Bruno is a brother of one of my daughters in law. He was fighting 
cancer for quite a long time. A very loving man and loved by everyone 
who knew him. The Funeral Home is very large and such a crowd of people!
I thought the crowd was huge when my daddy died, but this was SO many.
They are an Italian and I know the Italian families are very close and large.
There is a 14 year old male, Gionni (They say Johnny) who has always been 
different and difficult for some people to converse with. I have always hit it 
off well with him. Yesterday we found a room where we could sit and talk. 
I saw that he has matured tremendously and quite able to explain his opinions.
I gave him my own as an adult and we were deep in conversation when my 
daughter and Gr.daughter found us, want me to come and talk to other people.
They were of the opinion that it was rude of me to (LOL) sneak off to a quiet place. 
I assured Gionni that there will be a future time for us to continue our discussion.

The family and friends of Bruno are such loving people. My problem was that I have difficulty connecting names with faces. People who grew up with my children whom I should remember,
I couldn't put a name to their faces. I hope they understand and don't think I'm just a senile,
old woman.

Today is my firstborn child's birthday.
My son Kelly was born 66 years ago. 
That was when I began to know what it is to love completely.
I had loved my little sister. However there is no love like that of our own child.

We visited with our Amy, Kelly's mate.
She is fighting cancer and manages to 
amuse us still.       May God see fit to heal her.

Mornin' Naiwen!  At 4 this  morning, SATW wouldn't open on my FireFox.   Later in the morning, it was okay.

I am glad SATW wasn't down for long.

Been sick to my stomach this afternoon....the culprit I think was fresh cucumbers which I love so much but I should stay off of them for awhile.

I had lab done this morning can't wait for the results.

Hope your results are good, Glad.  Had a wierd dream last night.  I gave a hug to this elderly lady, Jan,  that Mary used to work with, and wished her a Merry Christmas.  She was in a hospital bed.  Then I turned to another older lady who looked familiar- she had black hair like Snowden, and ruby red lipstick, and gave her a hug which lingered a bit, so much that Jan said "That's enough!"
Then Gracie woke me up by jumping up on my armrest.

LFF, we are never responsible for how strange our dreams are.
Dreaming of Marianne, if it was her, is a good dream and a kiss
is better than a fight. Lets us know where your mind is! 

Today isn't conducive to spending much time outside. Yet that's
just where I was most of the morning. Quick trip to the ATM,
washing some fussy stuff off my wagon, watering a few thirsty 
garden plants, pulling out kale which had gone up to seed, 
visiting the wee doggie and his Master my son Chuck. We
used to go to a park for a family picnic when their dad and 
grandparents were living. Lately we haven't done any family outings.
Too many sick and deaths, gr,kids having to work. Such is life,

What did I do today?  I asked and had Penny drive me to the gas station to get a few quarters.  Then I did my laundry.  I installed Google Voice Assistant on my phone. (I still don't have it working right.)  Called my Sister, and found that she's having respiratory problems due to the smoke from Canada.

Good morning on this July 5.  Hope all had a safe and enjoyable 4th.

Doing a quick drop in and hello. Stik going back and forth at the hospital, with the wife. So I'll be back to normal visiting as soon as possible. Take care, and stay safe.

LFF, I believe many people will suffer from the So'called smoke from fires in Canada.
I believe there is much more to that story than fires. I pray your sister's respiratory system heals quickly and completely.
Yes Glad, I also hope everyone had a safe and pleasant 4th. Nothing exciting here. We had visited Kelly and Amy July 2nd. I only visited the little dog as I do most days.
Windwalker, here is hoping your life settles into a regular routine soon.

An early phone call from my nephew, Lee, in TN went on about an hour. He is scheduled for surgery tomorrow and having lost his dear wife recently, he reaches out to either me, one of his remaining uncles, my daughter/his cousin for comfort. When they lived here, as children, he is naturally close to my kids. I will be praying for him tomorrow. They keep finding new areas to which the cancer has spread. 

One exciting thing happening here. Our trailer park road had potholes/pits,
terrible condition, a virtual obstacle course. Today the new paving has begun.
Aside from a for certain rent increase, all is good.

Was infomed my Mon jaro would cost $786 because I'm in the donut hole.  Put it on hold. made a bunch of phone calls, nd now I'm supposedly apprved for Ozempic at $70 a month.I tried to register from the email they sent, and the user name and password they sent is invalid.  Now I'll have to call them in the morning.

A disturbing phone call today from Washington State.
Bob, husband of my dear niece who died a few years ago,
was rushed to the hospital due to a serious heart attack.
When does it stop?
No news yet regarding Nephew Lee's surgery this morning.

That pic was taken yesterday with my laptop.  Actually, as I weighed myself this morning, I've gained a couple pounds, but I'm still down 30 pounds from my surgery, and 80 pounds from my highest weight.
Sheri got in the car last night, and she told me I'm narcissistic, and proceeded to berate me for 20 minutes with every little thing the other side of my Gemini personality has said or done.
I needed that!  When she was done, she said "I do still love you and care about you.  That's why I've said told you this."  Then, after we went to the store, we went out for catfish and steak fries.

I've been sick all day- trembling, my balance has been way off,  and my neck has been really hurting.

Oh my LFF hope you are ok!

Side effect of my new medication- won't be taking that anymore.
