I am running late as usual for church but wanted to come in and say hello.  I come back later this afternoon.

I took a shower today.  Glad it was mine.  Wouldn't have wanted to take someone else's.   I'm looking forward to that shower chair I ordered.
Had a little kitty out on the patio couple of minutes ago eating the last of the food.  Will have to put some more out.  Also, had my CFL go out last night in the patio light.  Might as well replace that too.

Saw the fine print on the Deal Dash advertisement today, where you can get merchandise cheap, so I looked it up.  It's like an auction, where bids are in .01 increments, but bids must be purchased in advance, and cost 12 to 20 cents a bid, depending on the 'bid pack' you purchase.  Then the bidding can start.  If you are the last bidder in a 10 second increment, you get to purchase the item.  Automatic bidding can be enabled, which can greatly increase your chances, and everyone else's too, and can increase bidding time lengths.  There are other details that need examination and understanding, but basically, that's it.

Sounds like a scam to me LFF, avoid.

Well, it's clear and sunny this morning, so we should be warming up. Instead, we have dropped another degree to 27F

No.  It's a real thing, 2Anne, and people can get good deals there, IF, and that's a big if, the mercandise is something no one ele wants hardly anyone bids on, and you're willing to spend the time required.
I thought about it, after seeing an ad on TV for it, so I checked it out.
Definitely is not for me, so I posted this as a warning to others.

Very sensible LFF, pre payment always worrying. I just got a refund from visa as bought from a scam website. Site is still running on Facebook. Chinese, absolute crooks.

Dear Glad, I am so thankful to my grandson and he won't take $$.
He just clicks away as if he KNOWS what he is doing.

LFF, such a relief knowing that you have decided to forego taking
showers which belong to others! There could very well be trouble if
the other person happened to be USING their own shower just when
YOU decide to take it! Now no excuses !!!!!

That’s interesting LFF about links. Every day I get loads of spam, mostly from America and there are links in them, I never click as they are scams and viruses.
Pleased you are ok Glad, sounds a worry.

Even when a real link says microsoft, one must be careful it shows microsoft.com, and not microsoft. something else.com.

I did have a halfway decent sleep last night......just keep my family in your prayers.

It is the second day of spring but still feels like the second day of winter in my opinion. 45 degrees and possible rain on the way.  Might be a good day for chicken noodle soup not sure just yet.

Today I did a load of laundry, our outerwear. Then I planted 12 tomato seeds in 
an egg carton filled with potting soil and crushed egg shells. When they are about
2 inches tall I will transfer them to small pots and they will be taken outside to become
accustomed to cooler days and nights.

Therapist was pleased with my progress.

Have an occupational therapist coming out at 11 this morning, and a nurse at 2 p.m.  Don't worry.  I'll behave myself.

I hope they sent one of those guards, with her.

No plans for today. Michelle will be sleeping, after getting injections in her back, this afternoon. I'm sure I'll find something to get into.

The occupational Therapist came yesterday, and told me I'm doing so well that she won't have to come out again, and she'll report as such.
The nurse came out too, and after checking me out, he said I'll probably only need the Physical Therapist a couple more times.
Sheri's taking me to my doctor's appointment today.

Today I drove for the first time since this surgery.  I had to run a letter down to H&R Block- only about 2 miles.  Thought that since Sheri was lying down, I should give it a try.  Only problem I had was I found it a lot harder to get in the driver's seat.

LFF, you would be wise to not forge ahead too quickly.

Good morning! You know, I forgot just how much fun it is, to have to retype your username and password to every site, after you upgrade or move to a new browser.

I'm trying out another desktop environment, and everything remained the same, with the exception, or some passwords in the browser.

Physical therapist was out this morning.  Said he was going to work on balance.  I said "Good", and brought out my check register...

I did sleep well last night.  No news to report but as soon as I hear something will post information over in my personal section of shout.  Thank you for all your prayers.

I think I'll be riding to Saugatuck with Sheri this afternoon.

My checkbook is fine, but the Therapist was talking about my not falling down.  He had me do a bunch of exercises.  Did well.

So thankful that Glad AND LFF are in a better place emotionally
today.

I have no complaints worth mentioning today.

I'm very tired today.  Fearing this old body needs to be replaced with another model.  Don't give me one of those new ones.  Pull one of the old ones stored in the freezer, unused.  They probably passed quality inspection.  I think Quality Inspection is a department that was eliminated in the pursuit of 'efficiency'.

I think you're right, lightfootfan. Everything is worse today, in the name of convenience. Glad you two are feeling somewhat better.

I've got a pile of health papers I took out of my file cabinets.  Will start going through them tomorrow.

Glad, it always hurts when someone leaves us. I believe we
continue to miss them the remainder of our days.
The young female who lived in our trailer park died with no
forewarning. She was generous, loving, she could speak
with a sharp tongue, but she was also a dear friend.
Lightfootfan, do you have any idea what may be the cause
of your sickness? I very much hope you're feeling much better
by bedtime. 

My chit chat is:
I washed some bedding, cleaned up the rock/flower bed
circle around the bird-bath. I found one Crocus had blossomed
and it's beautiful.
I visited my doggie friend. He was jealous because another dog
on his street was visiting HIS friend Leroy which meant he couldn't 
visit. I spent time with him to make up for his hurt.
I think I will try to find a repeat of President Trump's Rally.
