Since the last thread was so long thought it would be best to create a new one.

My main activity for today is trying to learn how to right and left click without a mouse and also how to copy and paste. Uncertain how on a lap top.

Right Click to copy or paste, unless those options are not on your right click options. If they aren't, they can be added.

Rained all night, the day I left. The weather, it was dry... Sun so hot, I froze to death. Susanna, don't you cry. Remember that?
Anyway... Rained all night here. Still raining a light rain. Took Chipper out in it. He didn't mind.
Today, after I get a shower and put my stockings on, I'll be going out to my Mom's, repair the side table by her power chair, and see how she's settling in now.

AHA, I'm here at last.
A load of laundry.
Got a few signers for the petition to limit Witless's
overreaching power. I still have more to get. A nice
neighbor is getting some too.
WE had RAIN galore. WE have 55 gallon plastic containers
in which we collect rain water. They're a few years old. As
I walked out back this morning, I was surprised to see chunks
of white plastic and the side of the barrel blown out.
Must have been a weak spot and all the rain just broke it.

I'm Home Again! Been at my Mom's all day. Still getting her settled in.
The Visiting Angels who were going to help my Mom can't find help in our area. People don't want to go to work and lose that extra $600 a week they're getting on unemployment. I wish I could get that! $2400 a month would pay off my car in 3 months.

LFF, we did get an extra $1,200.00.
Not bad when we are retired.
Some people don't have a job to return to.

I set out a row of tiny Kale plants, covered them with very fine material
to keep Cabbage moths out. Picked enough Kale to freeze a small bag.
Set out a tomato sucker which I accidentally cut off a plant. I tried to
grow roots on it, usually works, not this time. The sucker already had
small tomatoes on it, so I just couldn't toss it out. I dug a deep hole,
set it in with egg shells and rich soil, watered and I'm hopeful.
Resting after visiting my doggie. He almost caught a Squirrel.

Good point, Joyous, but everybody got the 1200, and only those on unemployment have received the $8400 over the last 14 weeks. Oh, what I could have done with $8400.
Took Dawn to the bank this morning, to the party store, then to Village Inn for lunch, then to Village Market for some groceries, to Family Dollar for a few things, and stopped at Sweet Temptations for soft serve ice cream before we came home.

LFF, I get the point. However, many people earn minimum wage
and barely exist if they live alone. I think President Trump intended
that the extra money would be spent and keep the economy going.

I just listened to Alan Dershowitz debating Robert Kennedy Jr. regarding
the COVID vaccine, whether or not it should be mandatory. Kennedy
proved my point against the vaccine. He told truths beyond the current
vaccine.

1st: Glad, all I have for the Fall garden so far is some kale seedlings .
I have spinach seed for planting and hopefully lettuce seed.

2nd: LFF, looking at apartments? Is this for Dawn or for you and Dawn?
I'm not being nosey (Only a smidgen) just wonder if you're moving.

My activity today. Kroger, bank, B/P to fill gas tank. Saw my doggie friend.
Did I mention that he refused to eat yesterday, acted less playful, had me
near tears. When I went today, he still refused to eat from my hand, but
he played and raced after a squirrel. I realize it would break my heart if we lost him.

It sounds as if your mom is happy to be home again, LFF.

As for Little Chuckie not eating, that's not unusual for dogs.  Chipper will often turn up his nose at his burger.  I've had to put some cheese on it, some sausage, some egg, and tonight, I had to put a little beef stew on it.
Now I've ordered some flavored powder called 'Shake it Pup'.

Went out to my Mom's today. Took Dawn and Chipper. Dawn visited with my Mom, while my Sister and I did yard work for my Mom. Then visited with my Mom before Dawn, Chipper, and I went home, stopping at Subway for supper. Had a Terriyaki Chicken foot long sub for supper, with extra meat, lettuce, pickles, and onions, with sweet onion sauce. Chipper loved the chicken!

LFF, I'm thankful your mom is home and content. Will you miss having
Dawn there?

Glad, if possible, splurge on a wired mouse. You deserve it.

Little Chuckie began eating again. He made his grama happy.
He just wasn't himself, not cheerful, now he is full of steam again.
This late afternoon, my daughter, gr.daughter and their dog, Opie,
and I went for a lonnng walk in a Metro Park. We were very close to rabbits,
watched lots and lots of Monarch butterflies, a couple of Swallowtail butterflies,
and several deer. I bought us each one of those things you wet, squeeze out and wear on
your neck, in my case on my neck and head too. They keep you comfortable even in
real hot, humid weather.
I suspect I will sleep like a baby tonight.
