That's quite alright, Joyous.  Talking to you about it helps to relieve the stress.  Michelle has rented there for 5 years, the other tenants are moving out, and her landlords would like to sell to her, but if she doesn't get the 3000 soon, they've had a cash offer, and she'll lose the house.

Actually, not really.  Michelle can get the duplex, with the help of her Mother, but she needed me to cosign on a 3000 dollar down payment.  I hope I'm not being taken advantage of.  I make it sound good, but I'm worried.

Today's another day...  Had thunderstorms roll through around 4 to 6 o'clock, am currently eating breakfast- pizza from both Michelle and Sheri.  Today is Sheri's birthday.  I gave her a non-mushy card yesterday.  I happened to be giving her the money order and dog food she'd asked me to pick up for her (She'd given me the money for it.), so I gave her the card, saying "I know it's a day early, but I may not see you tomorrow."

I hope all goes well with the loan and your identity.

Today I followed my daughter to drop off her car for brake work. 
I washed the whites. Picked some peppers, some tomatoes,
took GR,daughter to work, visited my little doggie.
It has been miserable hot.
I may not be on Shout for a few days while I cat sit for my friend.
She told me to use her computer, but I think our computers are so
personal, I hesitate to use hers.
I once in awhile have trouble with this one, it's the connecting cord/ 
the part that connects. So far w have been able to get it working.

Have a peaceful evening and sleep well my fellow shouters.

Cables and power cords are cheap.  I have a dresser drawer full of them.  If I have to replace one, I usually have what's needed.

So I could just go out and buy one for a Hewlitt Packard table top computer?

Your best bet is to take the old cord into a computer store, if there's an adapter with a specific voltage, if it's a power cord.  If it's a power cord without a voltage adapter, a universal power cord will do, if it has prongs like this:  =-  If it's a connector cord between components, like a VGA or HDMI, you can pick them up at walmart at any length you want.

Checked my bank account this morning.  The 3000 is there.  Michelle and I are going out for breakfast, and then will go to the bank- hopefully, I can withdraw it today.  If we can get that done, we can go to Michelle's bank, and get her home before 10:00, when her Sister will be there to take her to Wisconsin for the weekend.  Then, I'll come home and pay bills.  Such fun!

Yesterday went as I'd hoped.  Have a whole lot less stress today- still stress, but a different kind.  Michelle went to Wisconsin for a couple of days.  Should be back Sunday, with a decision on what she's going to do as far as completing the purchase of the duplex, where she rents.  The people on the other side are moving, and will she offer to rent it to me?  I don't know.  Would I want to move?  I don't know.  Would I want to rent from her?  I don't know.  Do I have a romantic interest in Michelle?  I don't know.  I'm 27 years older than she is, but our psychological ages are so much closer.  She gave me a little hug in the car before I dropped her off yesterday, but only because I asked for it.
I'll probably be picking up Dawn this afternoon.  I may ask her to warm up some mini Ravioli for me for supper, perhaps make some mashed potatoes.  Michelle gave me a 6 pound can of mini ravioli last week.  I haven't opened it yet.

Dawn wanted to make supper last night, so I let her make a large pot of alfredo, with Chopped lobster and crabmeat (okay- fake,but it tastes good), and penna macaroni.  We watched The Lawrence Welk Show on PBS last night.  (We both watched it when we were young.)  Today, I'll be taking Dawn home this afternoon, walking Chipper at Brookside Park in Otsego, since I go through Otsego to get to Plainwell.  Then, I'll be heading out to my Mom's.

Was up at 3:30 this morning.  Took Chipper out, laid down for a bit, took a shower, and I'll be going to the podiatrist's at about 10:30 to get my new shoes.  Have no other plans today.

The little pink guy woke me at 2 this morning.  Then Chipper followed me into the jim, so I had to take him outside then.  Alexa woke me at 6. (Set an alarm last night.)  Michelle texted me at 6:36.  Have to get a shower, then pick up Michelle at 10:20.  We'll meet Dawn and Kevin for breakfast....

Sounds a nice day LFF, but you were up very early. I woke at 6.30 am this morning but didn’t get up until 9 am. Husband out at golf. Had a swim at 11 am for 75 mins and then cooked lunch of tagliatelle with sausage and mushroom. Have a nice day LFF.

I'm rather tired after 4 nights away from home and 
nearly 5 days cat sitting. I came home afternoons to 
let little Chuckie out. More hectic schedule than I'm
used to. Think I will sleep now.

You are very good to go cat sitting, but there’s nothing like your own bed is there?
We used to have a cat but my husband is allergic to them so we no longer have one. I love cats and we have a lot of visitors coming into our garden.

Mornin' all on this hazy Wednesday!I was sitting outside with Chipper at the picnic bench yesterday, and Sheri came out and sat by me.  Had $20 for me for some cleaner I'd ordered for her.  I hadn't seen her car around, so I asked about it.  She told me she was getting new ballast headlights at a cost of $350, (was driving her SIL's car), so I insisted she keep the 20.  Told her 'Think of it as a gift.'.  She was going to get groceries later at walmart, so I asked if she wanted company.  Said she had actually  planned at stopping at her parent's house, so I dejectedly said okay.  Called her later, before she left, and asked her to pick up a bag of small dog Fresh Pet food for Chipper.  She brought it over later, and wouldn't take anything for it.
In answer to the question about if I'm content here, if I can afford to stay here after my rent goes up next month, I think I'd like to stay here, as I like it here, the people, the location, the fact that ours is a small complex, and the people here seem to like me, and think I'm a nice guy.  (I've sure got them fooled.)

I had an allergic reaction to her first cat. 
I couldn't be near Kimba. This cat, Baby is a Ragdoll cat

Today I did a load of wash, returned the key to the
house where I Cat sat, went to Kroger, watered some flowers,
visited Little Chuckie. Now I will go out and water some veggies.
Quite dry here.

Did you spend the required time with little Chuckie, Joyous, or were you rushed?  He needs the allotted minutes, and believe me, he can keep track.

LOL LFF, are you making a wise crack about my brilliant

Yes, I stayed the allotted time. He has been traumatized
somehow. He detests having a harness pulled over his ears/head.
He somehow manages to either chew the harness or to get
one of his front paws into the neck opening in an effort to
get it off. Today we just put his leash around his neck, not
a good solution in my humble opinion, but Chuck IS his actual
owner. It worked out well and he seemed happy.

I must get out in the garden early tomorrow, beans need picking.

Is Chuck allowed to fence in his yard, thereby eliminating the need for a harness?

No. Fences are not allowed. I considered putting 
up a removable fence.

They make retractable fences up to 100 feet in length.

Here we go- August 5, 2021.  To quote Abraham Lincoln, "The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here", but the internet will not forget.  It may get buried under billions of GigaBits of other information, but it will still be there, and future artificial intelligence will be able to access it.  I say artificial intelligence, because I don't have much hope for human intelligence.
Sorry.  I got side-tracked.  I find that happens a lot more as I mature.
I may take Chipper for a walk later, but right now, I have very little ambition.

WE had picked several ripe tomatoes, saving enough for canning.
This morning we washed, scalded, peeled and Ray canned 7 quarts.
They sure will taste delicious when snow falls.
I visited Little Chuckie twice today.
I picked up one prescription at Meijer. The other, they had only 5 of
them, saying I may be able to get them tomorrow. At home as I began to finish
filling the pill holder, I noticed the Metoprolol pills are a different color, which 
means I must visit the pharmacy again with one of the original pills. Not
wise to take them as a mistake could have been made.

I'm glad you watch thode pills, Joyous!  Misteaks can definitely be made.  Might just be from a different supplier, but it's good to check.
Yes.  'The Ritz' was a joke, referring to the song.  I checked.  There are no Ritz-Carlton resorts in Michigan.

No.  I had to microwave some hot dogs at home, and eat alone.
Michelle was going to help her Mom powerwash today, but that didn't work, so she called a friend.  She and Michelle were going to have blood drawn at 2:30, so she texted me, at 12:06,  asking me if I could come to Plainwell, take her to her bank in Kalamazoo, then to the florist in Plainwell to get something for her Sister, then stop by the Chinese place in Plainwell, so she could pick up a to-go order to take home for her supper later, then stop by the local convenience store to pick up cigarettes, then get her back home in time for her friend to pick her up to go to the doctor's.  I said sure.  Put on my shoes, drove out there, ran her around, then got her home by 1:39.  She thanked me as she hopped out of the car to go inside.  I thought "What?  No kiss?"   Just told her "  See you later!"  I'll probably see her when I pick up Dawn after lunch tomorrow.

Was up at 4:16  this morning, went to the library, came back and woke Chipper.  Took him outside and walked around with him for a while.  He was in no hurry to go back inside.  Sheri's Sister's car was here yesterday, and overnight.  Is still here this morning.  She must have worked late at the store with Sheri, or they partied the night away, as Sheri's car was still gone when I took Chipper out last night- is here this morning. 
Sheri washes clothes a lot,  (I make sure I have quarters when she needs them) and I noticed earlier this week that she was down to one Tide pod in the laundry room, so I drove around to 3 stores to find the flavor of Tide pods she uses.  Bought her a small bag of them, and casually mentioned it to her.  She called me later and thanked me.
Anyway..., I haven't heard from Dawn yet, but I'm assuming I'll be picking her up after her lunch out with the girls today.

Sounds like a busy afternoon yesterday.
At least Dawn cooks for you. I believe she appreciates you.

I took the medication to Meijer Pharmacy this morning.
You're correct. New manufacturer. 
I mentioned that when there is a change, perhaps the customer 
should be told, lest they panic. 
I took a lady I worked for to her Cardiologist. She was given a prescription.
It was a much higher dosage than usual. I called the Pharmacist. He assured
me he filled it as written. The Cardiologist didn't seem apologetic when I
called her, although a higher dosage could have caused problems. 
Best to always check.
I worked for that lady four years, I loved her.

Re: today, quick trip to Meijer, Picked two nice, red tomatoes, one for my son, 
one for my daughter, both need more ripening.
Visited Little Chuckie. He escaped the leash. Praise the LORD, I managed to 
lure him back.
Have a Happy tomorrow.

Dawn went out with a couple of the girls today.  Called and told me she's getting a fish dinner to go for me for tonight.

Humid here this morning, even inside.  Had to turn the a/c on for a while- at 55% inside now.
Will be taking Dawn home this afternoon, then head out to my Mom's.  Texted Michelle to see if I could stop by after I take Dawn home, since I'll be out that way (They live about 2 blocks apart.).  She replied "See you tomorrow!"  I'll take that as a no.

LFF, that dear lady died several years ago.

It was very uncomfortable here today, but inside
was fine.
Early morning we canned 7 more quarts of tomatoes.
I did a load of laundry, dried some mint for winter tea,
visited my doggie. He wasn't nearly as active as usual.
Too humid and hot for him too.

Today will be a busy day for me.  Up at 3:46.  Will pick up Michelle at 6:45, take her to appointments, breakfast, and some other things.  Won't be around long.

Sounds like a busy day, LFF.

I did garden work, visited the wee dog. He ran out and right back in,
shook rain off and stayed in. WE had a beautiful rain, which we needed.

This evening I picked up my daughter. We went to my second son/
third child's house for his birthday. I love his wife. Their two sons,
my gr.sons were there. Really fun visit.
Later picked up gr.daughter and gr.son from their jobs at Meijer.
You guessed it, daughter's car won't start. She picked up another
part for it, which she will try to install.
Goodnight and pleasant dreams.

Sounds like a good day aside from that car.
I took Michelle to Holland for appointment, to Kalamazoo for another appointment, to Panera Bread, so she could spend $35 on an order (She can't pay me back my 160 till  the 3rd), then took her home so she could lie down.  I then went home to Chipper.

Stayed up, and I'll see if Michelle texts me this morning.  She was in pain last night after the shots in her back and neck.  She suggested we might have breakfast today.  I told her to text me in the morning as to how she feels.

Now I'm curious.

The heat and humidity has been over the top today.
 might be comforting for awhile.

Michelle still had pain in her back, but not near like it was yesterday.  I picked her up at 8:15, we stopped at convenience store, went to breakfast, then to food pantry, then took her home.  She thanked me, and went inside.  Then I went home and took Chipper downtown for a walk before the heat of the day.

Is Michelle your girlfriend LFF? Sounds like a nice morning.
The doc phoned me up yesterday and said the 24 hour cardiac had shown up palpitations, not dangerous but I was to report back to her if they became a nuisance and she would sort something out. She updated a prescription for me and was very helpful. My husband does not like her and goes to another doc. I’ve always found her to be ok.

No.  Michelle is not my girlfriend.  She doesn't want a boyfriend.
Took Chipper for a walk at 6:33 this morning, went to Village Markup for a few things, came home to a text from Michelle, inviting me to pick her up, and take her to get Chinese take out (for her supper, I'm sure).

I experienced and my son experiences. The Cardiologist says I have
A-FIB and put me on medication. He wanted me to wear a heart monitor
for two weeks. I sent it right back. TWO weeks? Too much for a non-techie.
The medication plays havoc with my moods. Great that you like your Cardiologist.
Mine doesn't appear as healthy as I would prefer my Cardiologist to look.

LFF, if I absolutely must ask for a ride, I certainly would pay for gas or walk.
Here I go, AGAIN! Sorry!

I weeded the oval garden most of the morning. Finally cool enough for me to work outside.
I prefer pulling the weeds and grass by hand so I get the roots. I'm finished for the day.
Just a visit to my wee doggie.

Joyous I just wore the heart monitor for 24 hours and that was a nuisance, two weeks is far too long. I have not seen a cardiologist just my general doc but she’s good.
LFF I’m pleased you have friends and you kindly do a lot for them. My best friend has recently moved away and I really miss her.

I remember wearing a heart monitor for 2 days once.  Such a pain!  That was after my heart catheterization didn't find anything..
Michelle does have other friends who help her.  Last time she walked down to the convenience store, she says she had a seizure.  She does say thank you every time I help her.  She texts me later to say that too.
