OK, I wasn't sure if I sent it the wrong way.

I have a 'Wellness Visit' with my doctor today.  Then, I hope to go back out to Belle Tire to see if they can tell me why my Tire Pressure System icon has been  lit on my dash since I got the new tires last week.  Also hope to get Chipper for a walk later.  He doesn't want to go down stairs anymore.  I have to carry him down the 5 steps to the lower level where my apartment is.

LFF, have you any idea what could make Chipper
reluctant to go downstairs? Is his vision failing?
Maybe you could google it or call the Vet and ask?

I did a load of laundry, pulled out a huge tomato plant
and pulled all the weeds in that garden plot. I visited
Little Chuckie. We had a nice time together.

I think Chipper is being stobborn.
Today, I'll be heading out to my Sister's to set up this weekend's garage sale.  When I get done there, Michelle wants me to text her, then go out there.

I'm sure I did something today, but what?
Visited Little Chuckie early due to Chuck being out early.
Went to $$Tree, bank, noticed a thunking sound from the 
left-back part of the wagon. I got out, checked the muffler/
exhaust, thought it may be the sub/frame, drove around 
our trailer park with Ray listening. He thinks maybe a shock.
I went across the street to Amen Oil Change, asked his helper
to take a look while in the pit. He thinks muffler. I rather
doubt it as the sound cam more from the wheel area. Now I
must get an opinion from someone in the business. Considering
the guys who have worked on my daughter's car, not so certain.

We went to Kroger for a few specials. Not one Stouffers Mac n cheese.
Not one Quorn patties. Went to ALDI.
 Ray always gets what he goes for there.
Back to visit Little Chuckie again. 
For some reason I'm tired.

No news from Sarah. No news is good news.
No news from Juanita. I called my baby(HA) brother.
We discussed COVID, our siblings, laughed a lot.
I think I will sleep deeply tonight.

I was out at my Sister's by 8, took Chipper over to my Mom's.  Kathy (my Sister) and I set up the garage sale- well, mostly, for this weekend.  Chipper and I were out of there by 11:15, took Chipper home, drove out to Plainwell, picked up Michelle, took her to her bank in Kalamazoo, to Walgreen's  there for prescriptions ($200) that she had to pay for, so my money will have to wait, then to a Chinese restaurant where she was picking up an order for her Mom, took Michelle to the Meijer station in Plainwell, the Walgreen's there for her flu shot (not due for her third covid shot yet), home again, as the pharmacist was at lunch, sat there and talked ( said I'd like to meet her Mom.  Michelle told me she looks like her Mom, to which I replied "Oh.  So she's pretty too?")
Anyway, then I took her back to Wallgreen's for a flu shot, waited, then took her home, and drove home to take Chipper out again.

Thought I'd have a day off today.  Guess not.  Got text at 4 a.m. from Michelle.  She's overdrawn due to a new medication she picked up yesterday (not covered by insurance), and I can't help her out financially, but I could be there for her by text.  I'll be driving out there about 9:00.

Michelle will be speaking at the speakers meeting tonight.  She tried her speech out on me as we were waiting for our breakfast.  There's a lot I didn't know about her, and her past.  From the age of 15, she's had a torrid past of different jobs, abuse, drugs, and alcohol.  I listened intently, then thanked her for sharing that with me, and told her I feel much closer to her, and that I'm glad we're friends.  Then, I mentioned how growing up as 'the handicapped kid' has affected me.
She sounded pleased that I'm the nice guy I am, and happy we're friends.  When I took her home, I gently squeezed her forearm and told her to have a nice day.  She smiled at me.
Anyway, I came home, walked Chipper, came back in, and ate some pineapple sherbet.  I see that the SyFy channel is going to start airing a series called 'Chucky' on October 12.

I hope things went well for Michelle last night.  Maybe I should have been there for support.
Today, I'll be taking off with Chipper to my Sister's at about 6:15 for the garage sale- Fun, Fun.

Did I miss something? What is a Speakers meeting?
LFF, I guess one is odd man out if we didn't have a 
fragile childhood, a lurid past, who among us had a 
very happy childhood? I think Glad's wasn't bad.

We went to Kurtzal's this morning/
Bought a dozen ears of corn and a couple of sweet potatoes.
Corn is for a cookout for Ray's family tomorrow, at his
firstborn daughter's house. I haven't decided what I will be doing.
Not a lot as my car is making a noise which convinces me to not 
drive any further than the repair shop.

A speaker's meeting is an open AA meeting, where alcoholics tell their story.
Garage sale wasn't that great.

OH, I sort of know that most clubs have these meetings.
I thought maybe there was a special group called Speakers,
folks who made speeches.
The car can probably be fixed, unless it is bad enough to not
want to put lots of $$$ into an old car, in which case I will
give up driving. We used to have Smart buses. One made an 
appointment for a small bus and paid a fee. WE shall see.

We have 'Allegan County Transportation' here which will pick you up and take you anywhere in the County for $2, $1 for seniors, but pickup has to be called in 24 hours in advance.  They will take you to neighboring counties for an additional fee.  My sister said  if the ultrasound finds an aortic aneurysm next week, I may have to give up driving.  !  Don't know if I could handle that!
Dawn called me at the garage sale yesterday, and suggested she might be moving back in with me.  I told her she's welcome to, but Chipper might have a problem with her cat.
Will be doing the garage sale again today, but we might just wrap it up today, and pack it in till we have to have an estate sale to clear out Mom's house, after she passes.

We do what we must do. We may not like it, but we do it.

My sister was put on (Or is it in?) a ventilator last night.
We had discussed it before she went into hospital. She
was determined that she wouldn't be put on a ventilator.
The medical team saw it as their only option                  
                                                                                  
Little Sarah's surgery went well. Soon she will be home
on antibiotics;

Oh Joyous, I'm praying for your Sister, and Sarah.

LFF, thank you. I appreciate any and all prayer.
Juanita is a faithful servant of the LORD.
My little sister, so ready to help others, she has worked
hard all her life. I have always been close to her.

Sarah will be going home to heal soon. Her adopted dad went
to school with my oldest son. Her mom came into our lives when
she met and married Mike. Sarah has a little daughter who is
autistic. 
I'm not sure why Sarah needed shunts put in her head when
she was a little child. I recall visiting her at Children's Hospital
in Ann Arbor. The shunts had to be moved while she was in
this time, one to her heart. There had been surgery and an infection.
Knowing what this young girl has endured makes me feel blessed.

Yes.  We are blessed, and even with all our blessings, nothing is guaranteed.
My Sister and I decided this afternoon that This will be our last garage sale until my Mom passes away, and we have an estate sale to sell all her furniture and stuff.  This coming Thursday, we'll be packing up everything, and storing it in my Mom's garage.
Tonight, I told Michelle I had tomorrow off, and  asked her if she wanted to go to the Allegan County Fair.  Told me she'd love to, but she has plans.  Also that she went to E.R. today with bronchitis.  Told her I'd pray for her, and to let me know when she feels better.  And to get some sleep.

Michelle texted she didn't get much sleep because of coughing.  Told her I can bring her some cough medicine...

LFF, an herbal tea with organic honey and lemon juice is better for
her than cough medicine. Although if her doctor said cough syrup,
maybe .
Fisherman's cough drops are very soothing.
Has Michelle been tested for COVID?

My sister is now being given blood plasma , type A, from a person
who had COVID and recovered.
I'm praying for recovery. It will be a long, slow road to full recovery.
She has other health issues and is run down.

Little Sarah came through the surgery and will return home to heal.
She is in her early 2os, I think.

I took Michelle to the pharmacy this morning.  She got amoxicillan and prednisone.  She has cough drops.  Don't know if she's been tested.  I know she's fully vaccinated.  Still praying for your Sister.   Had no idea little Sarah was that old.  Sending prayers.

Busy day today.  Chipper had me up at 3:00,  after walking him around for 20 minutes, we came back and went to bed.  Michelle texted at 6:08.  She needed me.  Drove out to Plainwell, got her to labs for a blood draw at 7.  She asked me to make a deposit for her at the bank here in Allegan.  Drove back to Allegan to make her deposit, found the night deposit locked.  couldn't  make the deposit, so I went to Village Markup for ranch dressing and Horizon milk for Sheri, came home and put milk in the fridge, drove back to bank, made deposit, came home, and texted both Michelle (to tell her I'd made the deposit), and Sheri (to tell her I had milk for her).
Now, Mandy should be coming over soon, to cut my hair.

Now Mandy enters the scene. The plot thickens!

Little Sarah because she us a tiny, pretty , 
young girl who is mother of a toddler .

My sister is being weaned off the ventilator.
Slightly breathing on her own, vitals becoming more
normal. The pulmonary specialist thinks the trouble may
be more her heart than the COVID. Her daughter, Lynn
will be thankful when her mom is in Re-hab and then relaxing,
letting others help her instead of always doing for others.
That is who my sister is, the one who helps everyone, cooks
food for the church sales, just keeps on giving.

My day: Took Little Chuckie out about 9:00 A.M.
Ray and I went to Harbor Freight for two battery operated Bug zappers.
Visited Little Chuckie again. Talked with Lynn awhile. Didn't do much.

Mandy (Amanda) lives on the second floor here, with her husband and 2 boys.  She didn't come by noon, and when I went upstairs to check on her, she apologized- said she'd forgotten.  A few minutes later, she and her husband, David, came down to my apartment.  She cut my hair, and neither of them would take money for it.  She said I do so much for people here...
Anyway, I was able to stay home this afternoon.  Was nice!

LFF, don't take my banter too seriously.
However, you're right to defend Mandy.

Mandy and David are really nice people- kind of quiet.  Don't see them around much.  She used to cook at the prison.  Now she cooks at a catering place.  David is older, and retired, I think.

Here we go on a Tuesday morning.  Washed my hair this morning.  Will be taking my car in to have the Tire Pressure System checked out.  Might text Michelle while I'm there.  Haven't heard from her this morning yet.  She was pretty sick yesterday.

I didn't wash my hair today, but I did drop my car
off at TNT Repair Shop in Flat Rock. Matt called later to
give me the diagnosis and the projected cost for repair.

I visited my little doggie. He had great fun trying to pull
Grama into a chase of a squirrel. Grama won. LIttle Chuckie
was panting, his heart racing from activity and heat. We didn't
stay out as long as we usually do.
A neighbor knocked on the door, offering a matt with Autumn
colors. I thought it was a wall hanging and told her our walls 
are covered with art work from family and pictures I have
had for years. LOL She told me it's a door mat. Therefore I
accepted it.
I haven't called about my sister, no posts on FB either.
Little Sarah's mom asked for visitors and food to be taken to
the hospital. Sarah's little one tested positive for , you guessed it,
COVID. Sarah's mom is caring for the little one, therefore not allowed to 
visit Sarah. Just when my car is in for repair. She said, prayer is what she 
desires from me. DONE!
I'm certain it was today that I washed the dish towels.

Wow, Joyous!  What was the diagnosis?  Guess your grandkids will have to use uber.
I did my wash today.    Have to iron it yet.

I don't iron, just fold or hang.  Had to take a shower this morning.  Going to have an ultrasound of my aorta.  They're probably going to shave my chest, the last bastion of my masculinity.  Doctor seems concerned about a possible aneurysm.  This afternoon,  I'm going to the County Fair here, with my friend, Tim.  No other plans yet today.

Won't be here long today.  Picking up Michelle at 6:30, running her in for blood work, then to a doctor appointment, then going to my Sister's by noon to pack up the garage sale.  Have a good day all!

Picked up the good old wagon at 9:00 A.M.
$512.00 if I remember correctly, I apologized for the 
small tip as the total came close to all I had with me.
Not one thunk on my way home. Good mechanic.

I set out some Mums, visited my little friend, checked
the oil in the car. Also coolant. Oil was fine, coolant was low.
No news from my niece today regarding my sister, no news
is good news? Please Lord.
Some watering of peppers, sweet potatoes.
I think I'm tired.

Went out to Michelle's this morning at 6:15, took her to convenience store, to McDonald's, to the dentitht in Portage, to convenience store for something she forgot, then brought her home, before I went home and took Chipper out before I left at 11:15 for my Sister's, where I was for 5 hours packing up the garage sale, and storing everything in my Mom's garage.  Drove out to Plainwell again after that, and home again to make Chipper's supper.  Turning in now.

At midnight last night, I received a text from Michelle, saying "you're probably sleeping...", to which I replied "I'm awake now."
Anyway, she asked if I would come out and help her out with something before her 8:00 appointment, online.  I told her "I'll be there by 7.  Good night."  After I texted her that I'd be there yesterday afternoon, after the garage sale pack up, she sent me a text with an image of a bear throwing heart kisses.  I'm a sucker for cute twemojis.

Here we go on a Saturday.  The little pink guy had me up at 2 this morning, so after he dragged me to the jim, and Chipper followed me, I took Chipper out.  Came back in at 3 for a couple hours sleep before I had to get up at 5..  Of course, Chipper had different ideas- got me up at 3:30.  Took him out for a half hour, and decided to just stay up.  Maybe I can take a nap later.
Will be picking up Michelle at 7, running her to the convenience store, taking her home, coming back home here, taking Chipper for a walk, stopping by the bank, and coming home again...

LFF, you are busier than I am.
I did very little today.
Seventh day Sabbath; I do only necessary work.
I did see my little friend. When he tired of romping 
around the yard, he sat perfectly still, allowing me
to brush his coat/hair, I love brushing him.

I went over to Dawn's today to feed her cat, Gracie.

Woke up at 5:30 this morning.  That Nyquil knocked me right out last night.  During the night, Chipper locked himself in the bathroom.  When I opened the door, Chipper came out like it was no big deal.  After taking Chipper out, I received a tsxt from Michelle, asking me to run her to Wallgreen's in Kalamazoo  to get some meds the doctor called in yesterday.
This afternoon, I'll go out to my Sister's to pick up their old soundbar (They got a new one).

you should chill awhile?

What did I do today? Washed a load of sheets, etc,
visited my little friend, went to Kroger for water and 
treats for Little Chuckie and a gallon of tea for my Chuck.
This evening a car horn kept blasting. A neighbor lady 
came to ask if we knew who lived in #20. An older man
who has trouble getting about. He had fallen and kept 
blowing his car horn with his key, hoping someone would come
and help. Ambulance came. I doubt he will live alone now.

That was smart to blow the horn.  Michelle wants to take me out for lunch and to Gull Meadows or something tomorrow.  I can't say no.

I'm feeling a bitta betta today, after a good night's sleep, due I think, to the cold capsules I took last night.

I finished setting out the Mums, visited Little Chuckie,
I watched a bit of the eternal puzzle of Gabby and Brian.
If he didn't kill her, why did he lawyer-up, run away, not 
tell
her parents what happened. Will they find him dead in 
all that acreage with alligators.

Michelle and I were going to go to Gull Meadows today.  Was going to treat me to lunch at Krusty Crab's, but she canceled out- it was threatening rain anyway.

I'm starting to have trouble seeing at night, especially in the rain, so I'll have to tell Michelle I can't be out there by 7 every morning- leaving in a few.
Last night, I did laundry.  Sheri had a load of towels and rags in the dryer, so I folded them all, and brought them to her apartment.  She called me and asked me to put them back in the laundry room because she was going to have to wash them again because I'd touched them and I'm sick.

OH GOOD GRIEF !

The update from my sister is pretty much flattened. She remains on 
the ventilator, but at  low oxygen level. It seems they cannot lower 
it more, without some difficulty with her vitals. Good news: Her daughter
is now allowed to visit her every day. Also our brother may visit alternately.
If only I lived close enough. 

There must be something in the air, perhaps humidity increase?
Both Ray and I have a feeling of lethargy. 
I still must visit my canine friend and he has no understanding 
of weariness, LOL.

My Sister has a dog like that.  Pure energy.
I went out to Michelle's this morning- ran her around for a couple things.  She sent home a delicious shrimp stir-fry.

Happy Fall, all!  I'm feeling a bitta betta today- still with a tuffy node.  Will be taking off in a bit to go to the conservatorship, the hardware store, and to Michelle's.

Glad you are feeling better LFF.  
It is a beautiful day today and tomorrow is son's birthday....going to be 51!  I am the one getting old  I tell him.
