Lets Chat in 2022

Went to breakfast this morning.  Saw Michelle's new car.  Will go to Secretary of State with my Sister this afternoon.

Today off to exercise classes so a good day ahead.

Went to Secretary of state.  My Sister didn't have a form of authorization she needed, so we couldn't do anything.  Not all was lost.  We went out for lunch.  Then I stopped to get a new battery for my Mom's 13 year old Shark rechargeable vacuum.  They have to build one for 50 bucks.  Then I have to go to Holland again to pick it up.
After dropping that off, I went to my Mom's and packed up a few more things.  A couple came to pick up their Daughter's Salon chair and mat (which didn't sell).  I sold her an exercise air bike for 25 dollars.  Gave it all to my Sister as I took home the sterling silver roses I gave my Mom about 50 years ago. (They're real roses that were dipped in silver-  I'm going to give them to Sheri.).

Bet the roses are beautiful!

My niece passed last night.  Today has not been a good day.  My sister got to spend 3 days wirh her then as soon as they got back from GA Shelly died.

I cut my left finger today by thumb.  Finally got it to stop bleeding.  Will have to watch it closely

So sorry to hear that Glad.  My prayers are with the family.

2Anne, he went on his run/delivery, came home and rested. He seemed quite a bit better when I saw him.
He is drinking orange juice. Also taking Advil and he uses the raw organic honey which is good for health.

the wound. I know I'm always pushing raw organic honey. On a wound, wrapped with a sterile, white cloth, it heals.

Thanks for the kind words everyone.  I had a wonderful talk with my sister last evening.  She is at peace about her daughter.  

Index finger looks ok this morning.  Sore but not infected.  Hope it stays that way.  Hard to type without the use of that finger.

Son and I are going shopping for more wire panels for the garden then to Sam's.  We are trying to grow most veggies upward now.  Makes for easier harvest.  I will get new pics soon.

We have my Mom's house emptied now except for a bookcase/entertainment center that my Dad had screwed to the wall.  This is not to sat the garage is empty.  We have about 1 stall worth of packed up boxes for a lady to pick up Saturday for her store, where she sells all sorts of stuff.  The store is called 'This and That'.  My Sister has been selling stuff cheap.  For example, last night, she sold my Mom's queen size solid walnut bed with a 10 inch like-new pillow top mattress and box springs  for $25, just to get rid of it!

OH MY LFF, some blessed person lucked out.
I hope it was someone who actually needed a bed.
I still wish I lived closer and could have at least looked at Mom's items.
Tomorrow we will go early to a Sub sale in Riverview. We need nothing. Chances are we will find something we simply MUST have.

I must have shared my search for Abound Dog treats. Kroger sells them and lately their shelves are bare.
Little Chuckie stares at his treat cupboard! I tell him I'm unable to find them. Yesterday there were 6 bags.
I bought 4, was SO tempted to buy all 6, but remembering how long I searched, I thought of someone else and left 2. I took them to Little Chuckie, put them in his treat cupboard, gave him one. Today he went to the cupboard and stood looking. Dogs are SO wise!

I had a look at that Vitacost and they are pricey. I take probiotics and pay £9 for a hundred extra strong. Vitacost were $52 for 240. I think I have the best deal.

Some dogs are very particular about the treats they'll eat.  My Chipper likes Duck Jerky.

I slept too good last night. Now I can hardly get myself awake, but the big dogs outside, are staring at me through the window, waiting to be fed. So it's that time of day to get started.

I have a little dog lying here patiently. Windwalker.  Will have to stay home again as I go out.

Good morning everyone. Fairly sunny day and I did my grocery store run early. My sister will be here for dinner so had to get what I needed. I got it all prepped and ready to go into the oven later.

Went out for breakfast at Judy's, while Michelle was volunteering at the food pantry.  Picked up Michelle after that, went to walmart, to the bank in Kalamazoo, took her to a Chinese restaurant for lunch, took her home, came home and walked Chipper, then made supper for him, which he is not eating.

LFF, the ingredients in Abound are all good for dogs.
Amazon sells them, but at a high price. He has enough to last him quite awhile.
Today I visited the little doggie, did quite a bit of garden work.
Heard from my brother that our oldest cousin died. The oldest brother of my daddy was the father of this cousin. There were 11 siblings total from two mothers. From all there is now one left. She will feel so alone.

Sorry to hear about your cousin, Joyous, but none of us gets out of here alive.  How old was he?

LFF, I believe he was 88 or 89.
His health was bad for quite some time.
It's his surviving sister I feel bad for.
From 10 siblings to a lone family member feels lonely.

The sun is up, and it is a decent 62F with some clouds this morning. Forecast is calling for 95% rain. I hope everyone has a great start to the weekend.

We need rain badly in the UK for the farmers Windwalker. You are blessed to get it.

We might get rain today in the form of scattered showers.  Going out to my Mom's again this afternoon, to meet the owner of a resale store who will pick up all our remaining stuff from my Mom's house, and sell or dispose of it.

Jackie, I thought losing the first one was hardest. Then I learned that each one is the hardest. An infant brother died at or a few hours after birth. I was 3 or 4, never saw him. Mama died also, leaving our sister, our brother and me. Daddy remarried. Mother gave us our baby sister, who died last October, 3 more brothers. I remain from the first batch. Two brothers remain from the second batch. It gets lonelier as each one passes, even cousins because we were all so close.

My Sister and I are the end of our line.  We have younger cousins on some other branches of our family tree, but none we keep in touch with other than on facebook.  My Sister keep in touch, and will send some old photos we found of their parents and our Grandparents.

So neither you nor your sister reproduced?

Our older sister had 6. Our oldest brother had 2. I have 5.
Our baby sister had 1. The next brother had 4, the next brother had 2.
Our baby brother has none.

A nice relaxing Sunday here so that is great.

I know it's hard to believe, but I was a kid once.  In my 20's, I didn't want to be raising kids, so why have 'em?
In my 30's, I never had the opportunity.
In my 40's and 50's, I didn't have time.
Now, in my 60's, I'm happy I never had any.

A brand-new month! I have to move some furniture around today, but that is all that is planned, thank goodness. We are supposed to have more rain, today.

Spoke too soon.  received a text from Michelle- went to convenience store, walmart, Judy's for breakfast, during which I received a call from Sheri, so I also picked up milk, graham crackers, and Blueberry muffin flavored Kit-Kats for her.  Came home, ans Sheri's taking a nap....
