Today a nice relaxing Easter Sunday just nibbling on Easter Eggs.

Hope everyone is enjoying the Easter Break.

Everyone seems to be very busy.
I am being very lazy.
I did visit Little Chuckie after sitting while
my gr.daughter created braids of my hair.

LFF, I just heard from a neighbor that she
must lose 40 pounds before getting a knee
replacement. This after speaking with another
neighbor as she was pushed around our park
by yet another neighbor. The one in the
wheelchair had both knees replaced. I think
I shall refrain from complaining for awhile!
(Father above, thank you for every blessing.)

First surgeon told me lose 40 pounds, the second said lose 10, the third said nothing about my weight.  I'm going with number 3.

Go for it LFF, sounds promising.

LFF, have you considered the reason for losing weight before surgery?
A neighbor told me she must lose 40 lbs before having her knee replacement.
Easter dinner was eaten with dear friends , the young man has been a friend to my kids since school days.
He and his wife raise turkeys, one was baked for today's meal. Favorite food on the menu was the stuffing. YUMMY!

A mild 60F this morning and somewhat overcast. We've had rain for several days now.

59F 15 C here and cold wind has gone. Busy getting lunch for five people, more chocolate for desert!

Guess I'll have to get serious about the weight again before the surgery to keep weight off the hip.
Went to Plainwell this morning.  Need To go to the bank in a few.  Then to Sam's club in Holland.
Took the day off from Estate sale preparation.

I have a foot doc appointment at 9:45 so briefly stopping here to see how everyone is doing.  Will check back this afternoon.

My podiatrist appt. is on 5-31.
Went to Sam's Club today.  Then made a delivery to Plainwell.  Came home and pulled something in my lower back- left side.

What began with tiny snow specks became heavy snowdrops continually falling. Driving halfway around a 62 mobile park, I had to clean the windshield thrice.. It didn't freeze hard, but icy non the less. Little Chuckie didn't mind at all, but his Grama did. Usually we make 2 maybe three short excursions outside. Today he did poopies first time out, so I put him inside, cleaned up and then joined him inside. He knew things were not going according to routine. I said, "Okay, we will sit on the porch (enclosed) and Grama will massage you." After massaging awhile, he jumped down, went to the place where we get the poop bags, tried to get one. I had to explain that it had already been picked up. He was frustrated because his routine was screwed up. I shouldn't do that to him.
LFF, we went early to Sam's in Southgate. We bought a box of the small apple pies which we usually get at ALDI. Saved .25 cents per pie and they are made by the same Company. JJ's. Also bought a roasted chicken which we had part of when we came home. There is enough still for 1 or 2 more meals. Sam's is a good place to shop, but I was tired out.
LFF, I think we will all rest easier when you have recovered/healed from the hip replacement.
Speaking of healing, my fourth child/third son learned yesterday that he has the Wuhan virus. Tim is a fit, healthy man and we're surprised, but three others in his workplace had it before he fell victim. Also my youngest grandson and his girlfriend tested positive. Needless to say, neither family had guests over for Easter dinner. I did take a quart of organic/raw honey to each door. Also to oldest son and his mate. Then a quart to the house of friends who invited me to Easter dinner. (I'm tired of listening to myself)

Sending prayers from here.  Wow!  And here I am complaining about my hip!

Today off to the supermarket to stock up for another week. Be  good when it is all packed away.

I stocked up on Diet Dew, Diet Pepsi, Dr Pepper, Angus burgers, and fish fillets.

I shall pray for a garden which provides enough to share around this park. I was only hungry one day in my long life and that because I decided to fast.

Mornin' all!  I think I threw my back out on the left side because of my walking and stuff with the right hip.  Gotta go out to my Mom's today though.  The sale starts tomorrow.  I won't be much help.

It's supposed to be clear and mild today, no rain for a change. No real plans unless I get unlazy and go get some gas for the lawn mower.

Oh, just wait for the price of gas to come down a bit, Windwalker.

Nice and sunny today but a bit cooler than I like.

Spice, I enjoyed my 2nd cup of coffee around noon with two cookies. Then off to visit Little Chuckie. He was content today because his routine was observed.

I did check my seedling beets, Kohlrabi, sunflowers, still too early for planting anything the cold might cause harm. I am anxious to put out onions, potatoes, beans, peppers, tomatoes, flowers. Having checked my garden journal, I know that May is the earliest date for serious planting.
With the trains that haul grain refusing we may be learning to make potato bread, cauliflower bread, I may grow Amaranth as a bread grain, assuming I can obtain Amaranth seed!
When the rich and powerful held the 2020 meeting at DAVOS, this was a part of their plan for NWO. A plan agreed to by all except Donald J. Trump. Even the Pope agreed.

Scary indeed!

Cloudy today and a slight bit of rain for my trip to take grandson for his appointment.  The 3 month shots seem to be helping him....still trying to get disability.  He did get state Medicaid so that helps a bunch.  Continued prayers for him please!

A nice day ahead exercise classes in the morning and out to dinner in the evening.

Jackie, I have a niece, from my husband's family, who was recently hospitalized for some treatment for a problem caused by MS/stress. I will need to scroll back and then tell you what the treatment was.

I was out early to help our Park Manager,  my daughter, three other men, cleaning out a trailer. The woman who owned it originally died without a will leaving her trailer to her adult son. He and others simply moved into the trailer, paying no rent for about a year or so. Naturally they were evicted, which takes time. A dumpster was brought. We moved everything into the dumpster excepting appliances and the contents of two sheds, which we will be removing as soon as an empty dumpster is provided tomorrow. In my wildest imagination, I cannot imagine actually living in the condition they were apparently living in! I picked up pennies, dimes, maybe a few nickels, in every room. I didn't bother to count them. I just recall Daddy saying, "If you watch your pennies your dollars will take care of themselves."
The huge dumpster is filled to the top. The two sheds look as the new dumpster will be filled tomorrow. It's my understanding the trailer will be demolished.
I was a very tired woman, showered, (Felt grubby after clearing that place), went to visit my Little Chuckie. He was a delighted little dog.
(We gained a flag pole with my labor. We have contemplated getting one for ages.)

This is twice this year Kathy has been injected.

Worked all day on getting things ready for the Estate Sale.  I think we're ready.  Got home at 6 p.m..  Have to be there at 7 tomorrow morning.  Oh joy!

Hoping all goes well with the sale LFF.

Estate Sale starts today.  I have to be there at 7.  Not looking forward to this, but hopefully, after 4 days of this, we'll be able to sell my Mom's house, and be rid of all this headache.

Mild and cloudy outside this morning. The coffee is almost done making. I have no real plans for the day. I hope everyone has a great Thursday!

Hey everyone!  I slept in today......must have needed it. But the day seems half over and in reality it is.  I did wake up several times in the night to visit the restroom and of course about 4 robo calls  came between 8 and 10 am but I crawled out of  bed for the day at 10:15.

I am making stuffed peppers for lunch so will begin those in a few.  And will try to do a couple of loads of clothes later. Glad I have a dryer for it is not a day to  be hanging clothes outside.  And of course I don't do that anymore anyway but it was always nice to smell freshly outdoor dried clothes.

Hope Thursday is going good for everyone.  Thinking of LFF right now and the sale.

Goodness Glad E Olah, I don't ever remember sleeping til 10 am unless I am sick, which thankfully 4 years now not even a cold.

Just doing some posting and finished of a theme request for someone. Trying to get a hold of some snow removal people but no one is answering phones and the one person I did get through to had to leave a message and they haven't gotten back to me in 3 hours. Oh well come Saturday won't need them.

LFF, I'm wondering if you're even half as tired as I am. While hoping the sale goes perfectly , I think I would have traded places with you.
A trailer in our park is being torn down after the squatters being evicted. (The owner died intestate (?) no will of her trailer/ Her children/child had simply moved in and neglected to pay lot rent. Thus eviction. The new owners of the park, wishing to upgrade, offered 19% lot rent cut for some of us to clear everything out of the trailer and two sheds. 5 or 6 of us took the offer and worked two days, about 5 hours each day, clearing everything except appliances. May GOD forgive me for judging, how people can live in such a mess is beyond my understanding. We filled two containers, each much larger than a dumpster, about 40 cubic yards each) I felt SO grubby after handling all the trash. Also pennies, dimes and a few nickles were scattered here and there. Remembering what Daddy used to say, "If you watch your pennies your dollars will take care of themselves." I saved every penny. I put them into a Bank and reminded our team leader to take it. We were told anything we could use, take it. I took some fishing gear to my son, most of which he tossed in his trash. My daughter and I took some paving blocks, 1 rake, a watering hose. That is all I can recall. There is SO much waste in our country! There was a Rubbermaid container filled with knit caps, boots, etc, all of which could have been given to Salvation Army instead of mildewing. In defense of the original owner, she died of cancer. Her children perhaps should know better?

That is a very sad story Joyous!
