A rainy morning here. No plans though, so that fits perfectly.

I have a doctor appointment at 9 am so will come back this afternoon.

Been up most of the night.  Will nap later.  Have a good day all!

Had to mind grandson yesterday, back gone today and can hardly walk. Ibuprofen helps. Good thing his dad is now off work, he is absolutely non stop and I’m too old!
Very lovable though, likes cashew nuts, strawberries and blueberries.

Nuts and berries are good for him!  (might want to slip in a little xanax or something to calm him down)

I cleaned my bathroom floor, sorted through some items I need to let go of. How long should we keep items gifted us? Clothing which no longer fits? How many pair of shoes does one female need?
Time to visit Little Chuckie.

I wonder if she will lay her aggs in our garden again this summer.

My goodness Joyous! Reminds me that I saw a baby turtle last summer and picked it up.  Son said I needed to put it down for it was a snapping turtle.  It was the size of a half dollar so guess it was too little to bite me.

The doctor appointment went fine.....don't go back to the middle of July.

Foggy and wet this morning. No plans to go anywhere anyway. Just take it as it comes and enjoy it.

Yesterday, I followed Sheri to Plainwell to drop off her rental car, dropped her off at fitbody workout gym, ran over to walmart for a few things, came back and picked up Sheri, drove over to Michelle's, dropped off some stuff, Michelle came out to the car and met Sheri, they exchanged pleasantries, and I took Sheri home.  She mentioned to me that Michelle seems very sweet.

Jackie, I know we're supposed to look forward to the day when we will be pain free. Actually it's hard to look forward while the pain is present.
LFF, finally it appears you have female friends.
Today was spent mostly by Lake Erie with my daughter, youngest son, youngest gr.daughter and 2nd grandson. A simply lovely day. Chuck fished a lot while Colleen and Maggie spent time getting their kites aloft. I also managed a visit with Little Chuckie.
The weather was beautiful.

Took Chipper out this morning.  Used my rolator walker to follow Chipper across the parking lot to the picnic table, where I sat a while, before I took Chipper back in.

Just got back from taking Chipper to the boardwalk.  Drove down there like we used to, took my walker out of the car, and walked for about 15 minutes.  Chipper kept tugging at me to go further like we used to, but I didn't give in.  Now I have to make up his Angus Burger. Fresh Pet, and S.P.A.M. mixture for supper.

I guess we're all getting to an age when pain is a companion, unwelcome, but also impossible to get rid of.
Glad, did you post something about Putin knocking out our power grid? It supposedly is from SATW. Frightening if it's true. What throws me is that he is selling something.
We went to Sams this morning, got a free membership. WE did get some good deals, mainly
a roasted chicken. Yummy!
I visited Little Chuckie.
I started some Lavender seed in pots and some sunflower seed too.

The seeds aren't lavender, Joyous.  That purple color is probably a fertilizer on them.

We had plenty of rain and thunder yesterday. Now, if the temps stay mild, I will have to start mowing the grass again.

Tried to go to Plainwell this morning.  Couldn't find it in the fog, so I turned around and came home.

LFF on interstate 57 near Charleston MO there was a huge pile up Thursday morning where over 6 people were killed and many injured.  It involved many semi trucks and it was zero visibility due to fog.  You made a wise decision!

That is such a sad, terrible thing to happen.
I would never venture out in dense fog. If it happened while I was on the road, I would try to find an exit as soon as possible.
I haven't dressed yet, but after a shower, I will be thinking of visiting Little Chuckie.

I visited the wee dog, went to Salvation Army store with my daughter, back home I visited little doggie again. He was happily surprised at a second visit. After going outside to pee, back in for a treat, he allowed me to toss the ball once. Then he went to the door, turned to look at me, got on the chair, allowed me to hug him and I took the hint, "Nice visit, but this is not the time you visit." Home for me.
We had more rain, just when we thought we could begin planting the garden. As GOD wills.

Clear and slightly cooler here this morning. No plans for today, and the coffee just finished making.

Received a text from Michelle at 12:44 last night.  She thought she'd been bitten by a spider.  Got up at 5 and went to Plainwell- took her to ER.  Turned out to be a very painful cyst.  They lanced it, packed it, gave her pills, and sent her home.  After taking her home, I drove home through the fog, and napped for an hour before Dawn woke me up.  After I take Dawn home around 1 this afternoon, I'll head out to my Mom's house.

Glad you made it home ok in that fog LFF.  Also hope all goes well with healing for Michelle.

My friend had a road trip party last night.  She had a map of the USA as a table cloth and foods from all parts of the US.  I thorughly  enjoyed it but my blood sugar was way up this morning so will have to be careful today.

No pictures?  A road trip sounds good!  Going to lie down now.

I did a load of laundry, visited Little Chuckie,
went with my daughter to a house my son Bill is flipping. We took two small loads of patio stones from the yard, which needs cleaning up and son Chuck needs patio stones where water stands when it rains hard.

Slightly cooler mornng here, at 41F supposed to be a nice clear day again. Time for that coffee now!

37F here.  took a hot shower.  Eased my hip pain a bit.  Can't call the doctor yet.  My weight isn't getting down to where he wants it.

Not a very exciting day just the grocery shopping.

Thank you, 2Anne.  Waiting for a call to make a 'weight check' appointment.  Called them today.
Received my eviction letter yesterday.  Trying to work something out.  Moved here in April of 2014, and I kind of like it here.

I did very little today. Cleaned behind the convection oven, cleaned the stove, that extra get all the spots
and grime type clean.
Visited Little Chuckie. I felt so sad for him. he has
been on friendly terms with Leroy, a dog a few doors
away, for a long time. Today he looked and there was
another dog with Leroy. He didn't ask to go there, just stood, looking sad. I couldn't just take him because he might not have been friendly with the strange dog.

I haven't done much either Joyous.....no energy!
