2Anne, Jackie, I wondered how you both felt and your thoughts of Charles as King. Is it possible he will be more acceptable now that much time has passed since he has settled down with Camilla?

I’m not a fan of Charles, but Camilla has done a good job as consort. I think she will be crowned Queen but I feel Charles could bring royalty in disrepute, he said when asked about being leader of the Church
 of England and defender of the faith he would defend all faiths, marginalising Christianity. It worried me. We can but pray.

I have one errand to run today. Then the rest of the day is mine!

When Charles spoke of defending all faiths,
perhaps he felt he was speaking in support
of the British who hold a different faith? As
King wouldn't he be obligated to those of
other faiths?
Personally I belong to the Lord Jesus. Yet I
defend the right of everyone to make their
own choice.

I notice, nell, that you referred to the new Monarch as Charles, rather than king Charles.  Might that be because the coronation has not taken place yet?  How he handles the position remains to be seen.
My day should be pretty calm today.

Nothing planned for today. Thank goodness. I need one day, where i don't have to leave home.

Aside from visiting the little dog and calling my youngest brother for his birthday, I did very little. I may have watered parts of the garden, or was that yesterday?

My Michelle and I went to dinner at the Old Mill.

We have a birthday party to attend this afternoon. It may rain and it move inside.

Beautiful sunny day and going to be very warm. Need to go pick up Dusty's (the cat) inhaler. She has seasonal asthma and I was up with her every two hours last night giving her a treatment..

She's been threatening me with going to the police, etc.  Told me 'Gary', who gave her the money for her to pay her bills, wants the money back.  He'll be there at 8 this morning.  Told her I'll be there with 200.  She said she doesn't want 'Gary' to meet me.  He'll tear me to shreds.  Bring it by 7.  Replied I'll be there at 8.

Sounds like she's trying to extort more money from you. I wouldn't ever speak to her again. Let her and "Gary" work it out, if he even exists. I don't know all the details, but I wouldn't think she can call the police on you, for lending her money. LOL

I wouldn't ever speak to her again since she has mentioned Police. Any texts or conversations you have with her, may be twisted and used to her advantage. No communications, in this instance, are the best policy.

Oh LFF I am praying for you!  This is ridiculous in this day and time.  We are elderly citizens and do not need this kind of stress.

Told her I want to meet 'Gary' face to face.  She replied he wants nothing to do with me- to bring her the money.  Then, when I refused, she said to expect a lawsuit in the mail.  I told her I look forward to it.  She called me crazy and a psycho.  I then blocked her on my phone.

So sorry LFF, end of a friendship is very hard to bear.
Money changes people and as Glad says you don’t want more stress.

LFF, you have obviously been used and the difficult part is that you're aware of it . Just remember, you're the good guy in this episode. She is the one who loses. You have been the best friend Michelle ever had. I pray you won't let this eat away at you. GOD bless you and may GOD speak to Michelle's heart and mind. A true friend should never be treated so badly.

I was talking to Freckles today, and told him, "I'm the best thing that ever happened to her, and she threw it all away."  He yipped in agreement.

My little doggie who lives at my son's house
(So says my son) is totally affectionate with me, never gets angry with me, sometimes he does look sad when I accidentally hurt him or when I tell him I'm going home.
Being at peace alone is better than being used by someone you trusted. ("And this too shall pass.")

LFF, it makes me sad that you put SO MUCH into this relationship and this is the way she shows appreciation.

I blocked her on my phone texts, so she called and left a voicemail saying I'm not answering her texts.  That I'd better give her that $400 (that she had given me), that 'Gary' was demanding it, and that she's filed a police report.

Wasn't it $200 LFF?  Why did she double it?

I gave her 500 then 200 of the 1100.  That leaves 400.  I paid 700 on the overdrafts, and 400 on my car repairs.

I don't have the money.  Called credit reporting agencies to freeze my credit this morning.  Hope it's not too late.

My Michelle and I are back together!  She came to my apartment this morning.  She'd been miserable, crying, missing me.  We'll start doing our mornings together again, but no money, no credit cards.  We'll see if this works....The three of us are supposed to have lunch together on Saturday.

Wow LFF!  Yes no money or credit cards.  You need that respect from her.  Continued prayers!
