Two things I really got tired of, over the last few months. That trial and The Harry and Markle circus. That's all I've seen on the Internet.

Harry and Markle....  Can't say I know who that is... I try to stay with the local news.
No real plans today here, except taking Sheri to the casino for the buffet.

Windwalker the trial took too long....the jury made up its mind when they saw the dog kennel video at around 8:45 pm. Alex lied and said he had not been there.

The trial was somewhat intriguing for me because it mentioned two towns I lived at or near as a child.  (Spartanburg and Greenville located in the northern east part of the state of SC.  I imagine your state is like SC in that every one knows everyone.  I feel sorry for the remaining son.

Do you remember the Susan Smith trial (the mother who allowed her car with two babies go into the lake or river and drown?)  That was another case SC was known for and went nationwide.  So sad.

I've been to Spartanburg.  Visited a gal named Becky T. there.  I believe Spartanburg and Greenville share an airport.  Wrote a song for an airline employee there.  Can't remember her name...

Glad, I knew immediately that Susan Smith was guilty.
Never a doubt. It angered me that she tried to blame
it on a black man.
I find it puzzling that these trials take so long.
My niece's daughter was murdered more than a year ago,
they arrested a young man rather quickly. He has been in
jail for a long time already, yet no trial . The battle for
custody of the murdered girl's child is ongoing. Meanwhile,
the ten year old girl is with the father's family even though
he is possibly involved in the murder.

I admit to being less than well versed in the rules of Law.
The murder case of my niece's daughter involves other
cases such as Child sexual charges, several things. The
young man who has been charged is a Julliard trained
pianist, involved with the murdered female's daughter's
father. It is a sticky case and could possible involve people
in high places.

Some of these trials drag on and on. I think appeals should be limited as well.

I have no plans for today. I helped Michelle make some shelves for her Chinchillas to climb on in their habitat.

LFF, her murder was savage, multiple stabbings,
his DNA beneath her fingernails. Video of him

He was in Detroit airport, waiting his flight to
an overseas gig playing piano and he returned
to Greenville to turn himself in. Puzzling to me.

Good morning to one and all. Mild here and no rain. It's that time to have to mow the grass once more.

Well, the snow has melted, so grass may begin to grow.

Our grass already needs mowing.  Light rain for days and then sunshine. But after all, it is Spring in these parts.

Son is getting lawnmowers ready and buying gasoline for the gas cans.  He usually mows by the end of March.

We may get rain today.  Don't really need any.

Our creek is still way up. I do not expect a lack of moisture for our gardens.

I would seem, Winter has returned to the South again. Maybe she figured she'd vacation here a while, after being in California.

Yeah I think a big pot of chili sounds good today.

LOL Glad, that strikes me as amusing because I'm sitting here, eating leftover chili.
Windwalker, we have snow on the ground, leftover from day before yesterday, (I think).

I have done very little today. Between the two of us we have cooked enough food for 
two days, put in covered bowls and stored in the refrigerator. That was after we went 
to Meijer for a few items. 
I visited the little dog. I enjoyed being with him. After the routine is spent, I believe
he becomes bored and thinks Grama should leave/go home. He allows me to pet him, 
comb his coat, cuddle and talk to him for awhile. Then he goes to the door, turns, looks
at me as if to say. "I believe it's time for you to go."
Back home, I began to wonder, should I find some work to do, such as cleaning. Then
my mind turns to so many years ago. Daddy and Uncle Willis sitting on our front porch
talking, about what? The best fishing hole? The best camping site? How is the corn crop 
doing? Will it bear enough for corn meal for winter and fodder for the milk-cow? 
Will the hogs get big enough to have meat and lard all winter?
Mother and Aunt Evelyn would be sitting either in the back yard or in the dining room,
discussing how many jars of green beans they had put up, how many Black berries 
would be enough for winter?
How different my life is, buying enough canned food for at least a month. Discussing who
will the political parties run for our next President? Will the Banks close? Will my country 
recover from China's gift of the virus ?

The answer is no Nell.......in one way or another we will always be dealing with issues from the virus that came to America.

Glad, I see the virus as a result of the evil that has become
entrenched by the evil people who snatched our freedom
away while we were entranced by ungodly thoughts and
actions.
May GOD forgive us.

Jackie, my thoughts are sympathizing with you. Is this caused by your
ever present health issue? Have you become afflicted with some bug?
Years ago I had pneumonia often. I took to my bed and didn't wish to be
bothered,

Windwalker, your kind of day sounds perfect, sometimes. Although yesterday
I spent mostly outside. Turning the compost over, visiting the doggie, walking
around trying to find the owner of a little dog who was running loose. Jett was
trying to visit his friend, Leroy. Leroy was locked inside while his mistress was
away at work. Finally a nice neighbor picked Jett up, against his wishes, and 
kept him until the owner came home.
Today is beautiful. Soon I will go to visit my Grand doggie.
Sadly tomorrow I will be going to the funeral of a young woman who lived here
in this trailer park. Such a loss as she was so pleasant, so loving. 

Jackie, when Ray and I had the virus, I tested negative.
I know it was the virus. Our symptoms were the same,
congestion, loss of taste, total weariness. Both said, 
"I have never been so tired in my life." When it was ceasing, 
my right arm broke out in a rash, little blisters popped up
where the rash was. Each blister had like a plastic skin over it.
Now small, purple pits are where the blisters were. 
Aside from those symptoms, everything is back to normal.
Ray didn't develop a rash.
I hope your case runs it's course quickly and with no complications.

I was releases at 10:30 today, Tim picked me up, brought me home, he visited a while, Sheri visited a while, I tried to rest, Penny came over and visited a while, visited va bit, I rode to walmart with Sheri, where she got some food for me, and ingredients to make me some dishes.  Now I'm really tired.

OH LFF, please don't overdo.
 I know you're tired of being confined. 
Still, try not to exceed limitations. PLEASE!

Sheri doesn't want me to sit here and do nothing, that I'll heal quicker when I keep moving, so I told here I'll do what I can.  Told me to call if I need help with anything.

Please pray for my brother in law Jack. He’s in hospital with covid and has a chest infection. 50/50 that he will make it. My sister very upset. Thanks.

I relaxed too much yesterday, now I'm tired and worn out. Maybe I should shoot, for being busy today.

I took a shower.  Hip did fine, but my back is so weak now.
Sheri had me text her before I got in, and after I got out to be sure I'm okay.

I am headed to go grocery shopping. Need a lot of things.  At least it is sunny but rather cold at 36.  We got an inch of rain yesterday and last night.

It’s a wonder you didn’t have snow at such low temperatures. I’ve just done my shopping on line, delivery Monday. Saves a backbreaking job.

Ordered 2 boxes of cat litter yesterday- one for Sheri and one for me.  Also ordered some Iams cat food for her cats, a bag for Gracie, and a bag for our patio kitties.  Today received one box of litter, and a bag of Iams.

Good afternoon all. Just though I would pop in and let you know we're still alive. Had a bone density done yesterday. My first time ever and didn't take ever long either. Will get my results next week sometime. I'm trying to keep a positive attitude about but true be known I'm a nervous wreck right now. Very cold, windy here , had some snow but gone now. Next Monday , is hubby's birthday, another year older. Otherwise waiting for warmer weather, had some rain and we need the moisture. Des Moines River is finally up again. About time. Order something online yesterday and waiting for them to be delivered here. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Bone density tests are a normal thing for older adults- probably nothing to worry about.

here we go with another day.  We're under a winter storm advisory here. 
I saw on the news that there's a proposal to create an animal abuse registry in Michigan.  There should be a national registry.
Having a nurse come out today (Yes.  On a Saturday.) to evaluate me for home therapy.

Cold here in MO but at least no moisture....glad to see the sun shine.

The mention of bone density......I will have one sometime in June.  Need to make the appointment.
Also mammogram at the same time.  I get both every two years.

Men can get breast cancer, so I asked about getting me a mammogram, and the insurance will not cover it- seriously!

I'm back thanks to my grandson. He managed to get this thing working at least until I manage to screw it up again. If it happens again, I give up and return to reading books. I never need to use a password to read. I was never the brightest bulb in the chandelier, but never thought my brain would completely desert me.

I've never seen a rain forest in real life, always wondered how they would look for real standing in them. Glad you had a nice time.

I took a shower today.  Glad it was mine.  Wouldn't have wanted to take someone else's.   I'm looking forward to that shower chair I ordered.
Had a little kitty out on the patio couple of minutes ago eating the last of the food.  Will have to put some more out.  Also, had my CFL go out last night in the patio light.  Might as well replace that too.
