Going into work early today

Good morning all. Had some snow here yesterday.

Please keep the snow Margie.  I am not ready for it here in southern MO.

It is cloudy and 42 degrees this morning.  I am taking it easy today.  Going to fix a traditional breakfast of sausage and gravy, biscuits and scrambled eggs around 10 or 10:30.  Then won't cook for the rest of the day.  There is homemade chicken noodle soup from yesterday if anyone gets hungry again later.

Left work early today.  sheri's back was hurting

I binge-watched Bigfoot movies yesterday, and paid for it last night. I could barely roll over from sitting in the recliner too long.

Or was it nightmares about Bigfoot?  Today I have to pick up my Ozempic, stop by the credit union, go pay for my tires, get gas....

Not in a great mood today at all. Trying to get up to Iowa City come December 20th for two appointments for my left eye. Don't have full Medicaid so that's why. Plus had a bill collection agency call about our new hospital bill, we can't pay. Fed up with everything right now. We need help and yet our health insurance company United Health Care lied to us also. Say John's cataract surgery would be paid for ... Yeah right.

I'm sure there's something in the fine print, like att one of my hospital stays, I was taken down the hall and given rehab in the same hospital, but as it was listed under a different code, my insurance didn't cover that care.

SE Michigan weather today was COLD which I detest.
No rain nor snow that I know of.

I went out to the Credit union, over to the auto shop, where they installed my snow tires, paid them, to walmart to stock up on stuff, to Aldi (not again), filled my car with gas, and was home before noon

Wow LFF you had a busy day in a short amount of time!

I only get one day off a week, usually, so I have to.

Hope you get a paycheck LFF now that you work six days? You seem happy working.

Nope.  Just the satisfaction of knowing I;m helping with the store.  That, and oodles of in-store credit, which I've used to buy my Michigan blanket and matching murse, cologne, lotions, candles, several pairs of reading glasses.....

Still working at Sheri's store.  Now, at the end of the season, I'm a gopher- go for this, go for that.  I did help move a shelving unit the other day, but mostly, I sit on a couch and do find-a-word games.  I'm also company for Sheri on the drive there and back, and at the store.

Well with so light a load LFF perhaps the vouchers are adequate payment. Keeping you out of trouble too

End of season, things slow right down.  A lot of the stores in Saugatuck have closed till Spring.  Oh, I'll be busy then!

Good morning to all. A brisk 31F this morning and the dawn is just breaking. No plans for today, and I have really enjoyed that for the last 2 months. I get so tired of doctor appointments, just for the sake of them testing something.

Good morning Windwalker, and all who venture here today!  Will probably be venturing to Saugatuck again today.  It keeps me out of trouble.

Windwalker the docs just want cash, as much as they can get. When my son was ill with cancer in the States the oncologist turned up daily to do nothing and charged $160 for a two minute visit. Sickening and dishonest, my son was terminal.

Hello my Fellow Shouters. LFF, working for Sheri fills a lot of time
which would be like (Time on my hands) so as long as the two of
you are compatible, why not. The in store cedit covers a few items
you might not otherwise spend cash on.

Dec 5th afternoon through Dec 6th midday was spent with my daughter, 
my Gr.daughter Maggie, My Gr.sons Kenny and Jimmy overnight in the
Embassy Suites hotel. Their Christmas gift from Grama. Gr.son Vincen
and his intended Illiana (SP/?) came for awhile and had to leave to care 
for his dog, Colt. I enjoyed our time so very much. Maggie and I had baked
oatmeal fudge bars, I took Stouffers lasagna, Stouffers Mac n cheese,
a large bowl of mixed fruit. My daughter brought some food also.
WE played card games, chatted.
I had (FREE)breakfast with Jimmy and Kenny before we left.
I love spending that time with them.
Back home laundry and stuff.

I'm not sure this topic fits what I will ask.
My son is trying so hard to live without his Amy.
The daily calls between him and his sister and 
between him and myself help. 
Yet he is so lonely, trying to learn how to live
alone after 30some years.
Prayer helps, this I know. I appreciate any that
you, my frriends offer up. May GOD bless each of you.

Losing your partner is hard enough but to lose your partner so close to a Christmas is simply heartbraking and devastating...You know that a Christmas will never be the same again..

Continued prayers Nell!  Loneliness is a bad thing and the more you and the family can visit the better.

Again I thank each of my friends for prayer. The past two days Kelly is less distraught. His sister and I give him quite a bit of our time. Amy's step daughter also gives him time and he is able to handle his
loss without total lack of hope. GOD bless each of you.

Today I go for a Ladies Luncheon with the new church I am attending.  Same beloved building but a new set of people.  I am happy with the congregation and the Pastor and his Wife are truly Christian people.

Happy to hear it, Glad!  I'll be going to work today.
By the way, I applied Naked Bee lotion with CBD on my legs, Naked Bee salve with CBD on my shoulder, and Naked Bee lip balm with CBD on my lips.  I'll see how it works.  (We sell it at the store.)

Thus far, my afternoon has been on the plus side.
Spent time with my best Canine friend. Had my 2nd
cup of coffee with two/okay three cookies.
Too cold outside for me, but I tolerate it for Little dog.

I was at work today.

32F this morning, so it will be a jog out and back to the chicken pen to let them out. Not staying out there, any longer than needed.

Glad the storms missed you Windwalker.  I have a nephew that lives near Nashville he said they were ok but a lot of damage near where they live.

This is a scary part of the year, that's for sure.

I forgot all about the TN. weather and I have kinfolk near Nashville.

Back to work for me today, after 2 days off.
