Took Chipper out at 5 this morning, after he pawed at my recliner to wake me up, so I'd take him outside.  Didn't shovel this morning, but I'll have to get out and clean off my car later, so I can go to a doctor appointment.

I just took the dogs out at 5:30am. Time for my coffee now, and get woke up!

No LFF, the Grandchildren will be staying at the hotel with me. Also my daughter.

I see.  I hope it's a suite, Joyous.

I got up around 7:30 this morning and at that time it was 9 degrees......colder than cold in my opinion.  We dripped the faucet last night ina fear the pipes might freeze.....sure don't want that to happen.  The sun is shining brightly and we will up tp a whopping 17 degrees now.

Should have put this in the weather thread but oh well maybe next time.

I am making a homemade pot pie for lunch.....well using can veggies, can chicken and cream of mushroom soup.....almost like homemade anyway.  House smells good!  I will make a salad to go along with the pot pie.

Sounds good, Glad!  I'm tempted to make spaghetti.  I called and changed today's doctor's appointment to a virtual one, because I can't get out of the parking lot.

We're surely blessed and I thought it was cold here! Our thermometer reads 31 degrees.
LFF, I reserved two rooms, hopefully joined by a doorway. The grandchildren are in their 20s and 30s. Back when this tradition began they were much younger. I started it when they were in school. Then my niece and her husband began giving it to me as a Christmas gift. They traveled so much they built up points. We will call him tonight just to let him know we are trying to keep the tradition going. We all miss Cathey so very much.

I forgot to mention, I did visit Little Chuckie.

Did not get near as cold last night currently we are at 28 with a windchill of 18.  But we are one day closer to spring!  Yes!

Keep telling yourself that, Glad.  I drove into Allegan to the bank this morning.  Main roads are fine.  Side roads are another matter.

It’s 42F here and very wet. Been raining all day and garden waterlogged. We will go and have a walk around town tonight if it’s stopped raining. Grandson’s birthday tomorrow so will motor to their home for the party, must wrap his present. No snow so far this year that’s settled.

It has been very cold here. Friday night my daughter, all five of my grandchildren and the man-friend of first granddaughter spent the night at a hotel. It was so 
pleasant for me, listening to their laughter as they
played card games. I had only met Rosa's man friend once and this time I became more acquainted
with him. I begin to like him.
Back home today and I get a toothache. I dread going to a dentist because a few teeth must be extracted. That means stopping my A-fib medication
for some reason. Something to do with bleeding or clotting.
Enough of that.

Good morning friends! Much warmer here this morning. Time for that first cup of coffee, as well. The dogs are letting me know it's that time to go outside. No plans for today, just taking it easy.

Having an early lunch as off to visit daughter as grandson is two today, camera at the ready. Really looking forward to it, no doubt Oscar will have us all dancing, he asks google to play his favourite songs. It’s very entertaining. Weather good for the long run.

Mornin' all!  Sheri texted me at 5 this morning, asking if I'd go get muffins for her.  I got them, some milk and pringles for her.  Got a few things for me since I was out.  Will take a nap later.

I did the usual load of laundry.
I wish we had ER dentistry. I
have stayed home due to toothache.
Didn't see my dear, sweet doggie.
I pray ?I can sleep tonight.

Had a rough night- went from my power recliner to the day bed to the oversize recliner, where I finally fell asleep.  No plans today other than to give Chipper his Revolution.

2Anne, thank you. Sadly it still hurts. I'm enslaved to Eliquis and Metoprolol and must get information on how to taper off before dental extractions can be done. Although I spoke to the people in the Cardiologist's office, they have yet to give the needed information. A dentist cannot do his work until this is handled.
Meanwhile I use an ointment which is rubbed on gums and into cavities. It helps while I wait.

Hi Windwalker!  It's nice that you have a fenced in yard.  I used to have one.

Good Midday everyone....again I slept in to about 10:00 then paid bills.  So about to get computer time.

oooooh how nice to sleep until 10:00.
I cannot recall EVER sleeping that long.
Glad, you deserve that.

I went to the Dentist, had one tooth extracted.
Now it is bleeding more than seems right. I stopped the Eliquis after 8:00 a,m, yesterday.

It's freezing cold here.

Keep an eye on it, Joyous.  I used to always keep the gauze in the socket longer than recommended

A crisp 30F here this morning, the coffee just stopped so it's time for that first cup of the morning.

Pleased you have had treatment Joyous. If it keeps bleeding put pressure on the socket, I hope you are not in too much pain and soon feel better.

If you have a smartphone, you can do a face to face videocall, Jackie.  It can usually be done on a computer monitor with a microphone and speakers too, but it may take a different link.
I had a videocall with my doctor last week, but my videophone program was not compatible, so she had to send me a link to use my Duophone program.

LFF, I used a few squares of gauze before it stopped bleeding. Then rinsed, gently, with powdered salt in warm distilled water. I slept 8 hours without waking.
Today, not a hint of pain and the bleeding has stopped.
I am totally satisfied with his work. Dental work is rather expensive, but well worth it.
2Anne, thank you. Not a bit of pain once the tooth was out. A wisdom tooth with long roots which were infecting my system. The gland on that side was enlarged and also painful. All is well now. I will recommend that Dental Office to others in this area. I asked for Laughing Gas, (Nitrous Oxide ?)which was given and felt not a twinge of pain.

I went to my first physical rehabilitation appointment.  Therapist was very thorough, but told me the next 7 weekly appointments will get harder

That's a legality, Jackie.
Went to Physical Therapy yesterday.  Flirted with the therapist.  Told her  she made my heart race, even with her mask.  After her nervous laugh, I told her that, at my age, I can flirt with pretty ladies like her.

It's for the bursitis in my hip that travels down my leg.  Will have therapy twice a week for 8 weeks.  Have a walker here in my apartment, and another in my car.

So sorry to hear about your hip LLF. I have arthritis in my left hip but just to say it's my whole left side. But my old doctor says I pulled a muscle. Yeah right. Go see our new doctor come Feb 16th for both of us.

Face it.  Our bodies are getting old and worn out.

Yep and it ain't no fun either
