Such a lovely day is a gift from the Creator.
I did a little shopping at Meijer.
My housemate and I both did yard and garden work. We shoveled 3 big containers full of rotting woodchips, put them in his pickup, brought them here to use as mulch in the gardens. I went with my daughter to buy bails of straw, she gave me one.
Himself (Housemate) set out his spinach plants, which he grew from seed. That was half a row, Then he seeded the other half with spinach seed.
I managed a visit with Little Chuckie. I am a rather tired old woman. After a shower, I think I shall fall asleep.

P.S. LFF, being thankful that a dear friend is with our LORD doesn't negate mourning OUR loss!

A mild 65F and cloudy this morning. No plans though. Not supposed to storm until tomorrow, but it sure looks and feels like maybe today.

I have made arrangements for my forum in that case. 

I recently lost a member and we had been part if each others forums for a very long time. It really saddens me that those who claimed to be her 'friends' so easily abandoned her forum after all the condolence and sympathy posts were over and done with. I do not want to that person so would rather my forum closed.

It is sad when you lost  a member as you have no many good memories.

When I  go my forum will be closed.

This evening going out to a meal with hubby so looking forward to it.

I am sure everyone is looking forward to Easter.

Well I am finding out a forum becomes dormant it may not be accessible to the members.  I think must stay active or  it dies.  I know one thing for sure it has been almost 15 years with SATW.  That is a legacy in itself.

I was at my Mom's for 5 hours today, plus travel time.  We have everything out of boxes, I think.  Now we have to sort it, arrange it, and price it.  We have 180 pieces of clothing hanging on a long rod- $1 apiece for most of them.  Some are a little more, like the mink coat, leather jackets, etc.
I'll be going out there tomorrow afternoon, but I think Michelle may have plans for us in the morning.

Good morning friends! It stormed a little last night. Made for good sleeping weather.

Light rain here last night.  Should be okay today,  Might go out for breakfast this morning.  Will be going out to my Mom's this afternoon.

Our stormy days ended last night and it is bright and sunny this morning.  Just a bit chilly but will warm up later.

I will go to the pharmacy then run some errands today.

I went to Tesco this morning and was going to buy a leg of lamb, been advertising it on tv. It was £27 for the small leg, beef for 3 or 4 £17, so bought a turkey crown for £20. Last year the lamb cost £15 ! I have daughter and family for lunch Monday and we will have fiddle fingers here. That’s what husband calls our grandson, he is non stop and likes to bang things, especially ornaments. I have packed up a bag for him with white chocolate Easter egg and baby card, he is only two and makes me laugh.very lovable.

Can you share a picture of grandson 2Anne?  If not I understand.  Glad you have a great time with him.

I have no idea what weather we had last night. I was sleeping.
Today was quite nice until mid-afternoon when the wind picked up speed. By that time I was worn out and came inside to the computer.
I first drove across the street to the gas station. Half a tank for $20.05.
Visited Little Chuckie. Did some cleanup in the garden patches. Planted a short row of English peas. I'm hungry AGAIN! Maybe another chicken salad sandwich.

LFF, here is hoping the sale goes well.

Our Estate sale is not until next Thursday, the 21st- planning on 4 days.  We have so much to do yet.  I was there all afternoon today.

The only way I could send a pic of Oscar my grandson is if LFF allows me to email him and he puts it up.

I was out trying to halfway clear up a neglected area enough to allow a Peony to begin growing again and to clear an area for scattering Wild=flower seed, hoping they will grow enough to brighten the area again. Below is part of what I had it looking like before I grew too weary to manage that and all the other gardens we have.

I took today off from sorting stuff for Estate sale.  Will be there tomorrow.
Michelle and I went to Kalamazoo to get our second boosters.

So you got a second booster LFF?  Maybe I should also.  I thought we could wait til fall.  Will check with the doc at next appointment.

My day was very tiring.  Went to two stores this morning Aldis and Rulers (Kroger chain)  Both were very crowded with Easter shoppers.  Rulers had spiral hams on sale for 87 cents a pound and they were out.....and no rain checks.  I will use the roast beef in my freezer.  Store shelves  were low once again.

I got home around 11 am put groceries away then took son to mow a friends yard.  We were going to wait until after lunch but rain was headed our way again.  We got home at 1:15 then it started to rain and done so since.

I am ready for a dry sunny day!  Tomorrow more rain.  My church friend will pick me up in the morning to go with her and another friend to Hobby Lobby.  Then to lunch.  So I may be late or absent awhile again tomorrow.

Tomorrow evening I want to make a blueberry pie for Easter.

Next week I have two appointments......Monday to the foot doctor and Wednesday to grandson's appointment



I am tired just thinking about all this!

Today looking forward to this afternoon when friends come over for nibbles and drinks.

The second booster must be at least 4 months after your first booster, is now approved for those 50 and older, or with immunocompromised  systems.  I'm over 50, and Michelle is compromised.  It is also recommended before the latest variant.  After I received my shot, the attendant showed me the info he added to my vaccination card, and told me it's the last shot (meaning listed).  I asked him "This is the LAST shot?"  He replied "We can only hope.".

Will have to look at when I got the 3rd shot or the booster.  I know it was before Christmas.  

I have heard they are trying to get it along with your yearly flu shot but don't know if that will happen or not.

The booster here is for 75+ age group and then six months after last booster. I don’t qualify yet, I think people who have serious conditions also get it. Not as generous as US.

I'm aching all over- a side effect of the shot.  Didn't have this with the other 3 shots.

We had storms, and I got up and sipped some coffee around 3 am. Then went back to bed for a while. A new pot of Coffee is brewing now. 

Sorry to hear you're aching, fella. I think I'd rather have regular cold than the effects of those shots. Michelle isn't feeling tip-top either.

Everyone seems to be very busy.
I am being very lazy.
I did visit Little Chuckie after sitting while
my gr.daughter created braids of my hair.

LFF, I just heard from a neighbor that she
must lose 40 pounds before getting a knee
replacement. This after speaking with another
neighbor as she was pushed around our park
by yet another neighbor. The one in the
wheelchair had both knees replaced. I think
I shall refrain from complaining for awhile!
