Well all, Good morning to you!  Another day, another 62 dollars.  Inflation is terrible here.  I can remember when the saying was 'Another day, another dollar'!

No plans for today, I think it will rain, but I'm all caught up!

I reckon it's back to beans and cornbread.
I really, really hope our garden produces abundantly this Spring/Summer. I saw cars and SUVs lined up yesterday for Forgotten Harvest free food. I believe a neighbor perhaps went there last time and shared the abundance with us. Fortunately we're able to buy enough, but we didn't want to appear ungrateful. We simply said "Thank you."

Good afternoon all. Had a appointment with my Heart Doctor, but had to cancel it because of weather and my foot. Reschedule it for Feb, hopefully it will be better. I mean weather and my foot. Went to the foot doctor and had bottom of left foot scrapped but still sore. Always something or other for me.

Margie, was it a plantar wart on the bottom of your foot?

I get calluses on my feet.  Every 90 days, the podiatrist shaves mine.
Rode with Sheri to get her hair cut today.  Took my car.  She drove.  We also went to petco.  Bought an assortment of canned food for Gracie, and some treats.

A light rain off and on here. Temp is an amazing 65F as it gets daylight outside. No plans for today, just do what comes. Nice to have no doctor's appointment the rest of the month.

Light rain here too.  Sheri called a couple minutes ago to check on me.  Told her I'm fine.

After heavy rain on Wednesday Thursday is nice and sunny but chilly.

I am headed for Aldi.

We're not allowed, or at least not supposed to put furniture in our dumpster, so I disassembled my night stand, and took the parts to the dumpster on my walker.  Now, I think I'm in for the day.

Glad, we went to ALDI today also. I looked at sweaters for doggies. They had a pale blue, but I thought it looked babyish for Little Chuckie.
Also stopped in $$25centstore for doggie bags(Poop scoopers) P.S. Our $$ stores now charge $1.25. Cannot be called dollar store.

They changed their prices here months ago, nell.  I thought the same thing.

GOOD afternoon, 12:19, here.
I scrubbed the kitchen floor, did a load of laundry, showered, soon must visit my doggie.

Yesterday something very odd happened to me.
Suddenly, out of nowhere, I felt that something bad or sad (?) either had happened or was going to happen. Never before, nor I hope never again. As far as I know, nothing did happen. It isn't an experience I ever want to feel.

LFF, I have let it go, but forgetting what that felt like isn't easy to do.
I am SO annoyed with setting up the Windows 11 PC. Why must we change a password when we never sign out anyway? I have enough problem remembering my phone number, much less NEW passwords!

I think you can choose to have no password, but it's not recommended:

Remove a password altogether

Typing in your password can be a hassle, which is why there are alternative sign-in methods. If you want to go an extra step further, you can remove your password altogether. (Of course, disabling your password altogether is a security risk — using at least a simple PIN is a better move.)
However, if you’re determined on losing that password, here’s how you can do it.

• Click the Start icon
  
• Search for and open netplwiz
  
• A window will open. Uncheck the box next to Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer.
  
• • Then click Apply
    
  • Enter your password twice in the pop-up window and click OK
    
  • Click OK again
    
  
  The changes will go into effect after you restart your device. Note that this doesn’t get rid of your password, but makes it so you don’t need it to start the system. Also, it means that only your login will not need a password; if there are multiple logins to the system, you will have to go through the same process for each login.
  

Wow!  -4 Centigrade would be about 25 degrees Fahrenheit!

Fairly nice temp, this morning. 46F and still a light misty rain falling. We had thunder several times last night, but it must have moved on.

It was freezing this morning, with fog and a beautiful hoare frost. Not a day to go out, it’s lethal underfoot and high risk for a fall. It’s now got up to one degree with sun out. Has defrosted my car which was caked with ice.

0 is TOO cold for my comfort. Even as a child,
I disliked cold.
We had a few inches of snow this morning.
Little doggie didn't mind. I didn't let him stay out
long because his feet could get too cold.

They make boots for dogs, but We never could get Chipper or Frankie to wear them.  When I walked Chipper in the winter, and his feet got too cold, he'd walk, stop, lift a paw to try and warm it, walk a bit, stop again, lift another foot, and so on, till I scooped him up and carried him.

Chipper sounds like he had you well organised LFF, lol! He was quite a character. You must miss him?

Yes.  I miss Chipper.  But now I have Freckles and Gracie.  Gracie is getting me trained...
Today, I'll probably stay in..  SURPRISE!

I know you miss him. The office feels so much different now without Reboot laying on the desk. 17 years of companionship. It was all worth it, though. You and I have fond memories of our buddies we had.

When our cat Sooty passed I was so upset had to compose myself before I drove home from the Vets. Losing a pet who is family is so hard. 
My husband is allergic to cats so we have none and the same with dogs. He coped with a goldfish but I didn’t like the bowl cleaning, he jumped out of the bowl while we were on holiday, I would love a cat.

I am preparing myself for my Muffin to leave me.  She was born in 2011 so coming up at 12 years old in a few months.  Son found her on June 1 that year and she still had blue eyes.... she had been dumped out.  

Anyway a few months ago I took her to the vet.  She has a mammary tumor and they want to remove it which will cost me about $600.  They feel certain it is cancer for 90% it is.  I looked up the prceedure and they would cut her stomach top to bottom to remove all the mammary areas which would be 8 on a cat.  She would have to wear a cone to keep from licking the area for 2 weeks which I would see to be a problem in itself.  

I have prayed and prayed for my cat for God to heal her.  She is my baby.  She is eating and drinking fine and using the bathroom as normal.  I hope I am not mistreating her by not getting the surgery done.  When tumor worsens I will go have her put down which is not cheap either.  I just don't know what to do.  The surgery is not a guarantee for healing either.  Cancer could come back in other places.

Would you pray that God will either heal her or take her soon.

Sending you prayers for Muffin Glad. I think you have made the right decision on treatment and just pray for a good outcome. 
The operation sounds horrific and the cancer may have already spread. If she gets in pain have her put down, it’s the kindest thing but I understand your heartbreak. God Bless you both.

Glad, I feel for your decision to be made,
I have thought ahead to my son's little dog, should
I be living when he grows old.
My son had one of his dogs put to the long sleep.
He feels he cannot do it again. I suppose I would try
to get pain relief medication, morphine like I have
given people to ease their final days.

That's what I call "gut" feelings

I have heard that description, but this was suddenly inside my head.
Awful and I pray it NEVER happens again. Thankfully, nothing bad
has happened unless it did and nobody told me.

The last couple of nights, I've been awakened by pain in my left foot.  Instead of feeling like a cramp, it's felt like forcibly pointing my toes downward, but my foot is straight.  I've also noticed an increase in my hands going numb when I've laid down for a while at night.  Almost sounds like a kind of Neuropathy.  I see my doctor on the 31st, so I'll ask her about it.  In the meantime, I'll try drinking water at night, rather than Dew.

Ouch, Dew is pretty hard on the system, especially the kidneys. I hope you can find the cause and fix it.

Drank water last night, no foot pain- maybe a coincidence.  will monitor it.  I still have restless leg...er, foot syndrom, and I worry each time my leg involuntarily stretches out that I'll get a cramp.

I have had numbness in my fingers and toes for a long time but the doctor says it is not neuropathy  so I don't know.  Learning to live with it.  Very difficult to open botttles and cans. Have some difficutly typing sometimes more letters than needed in words.(Example the word above ha

LFF, could it be described as a Charlyhorse ?
I sometimes get that sudden, surprising leg
cramp. I have to jump out of bed, rub the calf,
walk around until it is gone.
My mom in law said it is caused by low potassium.
She kept bananas on hand for just that reason.
She also had "Dupiter's contracture" (Spelling may be wrong)
That is when a finger suddenly draws back and cannot
be returned to it's correct position except by force.

Maybe, nell.  I bought some bananas tonight.
