LFF, could it be described as a Charlyhorse ?
I sometimes get that sudden, surprising leg
cramp. I have to jump out of bed, rub the calf,
walk around until it is gone.
My mom in law said it is caused by low potassium.
She kept bananas on hand for just that reason.
She also had "Dupiter's contracture" (Spelling may be wrong)
That is when a finger suddenly draws back and cannot
be returned to it's correct position except by force.

Maybe, nell.  I bought some bananas tonight.

I just brushed my teeth after eating peanut butter
on crackers.

I have no teef to brush.

Dehydration or low potassium can cause that.

Sheri just left.  She worked on cleaning my bathroom- even taking off the grille, vacuuming the exhaust fan, and taking off the front shield, vacuuming the heating louvers in  the register, mopping the floor, and other stuff.

Good morning to one and all on this chilly Thursday. It doesn't matter, as I think I have all my errands complete.

Sheri and I might do errands today.  She just called and is still a bit dizzy...

You mentioned that Sheri was dizzy. Does she have a B/P problem.

Today I washed my bedding/make that sheets/not the spread.
I did a tiny bit of shopping at Meijer. Of course I visited my
favorite doggie. He is such a darling with me. I believe dogs
react to the temperament of the person they're with.
We are now getting more snow. To be expected I suppose.

Going to be cool, all day. We're starting our day at 29F and still dark outside.We have to make a run this morning, then we will be back home where it is warmer.

We may get another blast of wintry weather in a few days...this time it may be in the form of ice.  I sure hope not.

Hi Glad!  The only place I like ice is in my bourbon.

Glad, I believe it will materialize in western Michigan and travel
north east. Hopefully to lose strength as it travels.
I'm not aware of weather predictions in your area.

Big busy morning this morning. While trying to untangle some wires behind the desk, I managed to pull a wire out of the solar controller. Trying to solder, under the desk, is not recommended for people with neck and back injuries.

I finally fixed it though, that in itself was amazing.

Today I did a load of laundry, did a little shopping at Meijer,
after visiting my doggie.

Had a great time yesterday babysitting grandson Oscar. Laughed so much, he’s three now and very chatty. Such an imagination. What a blessing grandkids are.

It's rained all night, but no storms. Still raining outside and it's still dark,
57F this morning.

Lovely sunny day here 8 C , cleaned the house and bathroom so felt entitled to a lovely cup of tea, my favourite. Pizza for lunch, have ready made bases but do the fillings myself. Eating out tomorrow lunchtime.

Dark here yet.  Will make a hot chocolate in my Keurig, and relax a bit.

Hot chocolate sounds good!

I had to reschedule foot dr appointment due to icy roads today.

Had such a nice day yesterday been in a happy mood all day.

Morning everyone, 57F and raining this morning. No plans, and nothing pressing at the moment. It sure is nice, not having a doctor's appointment every other day.

I'm blessed to have a daughter in law who is now a retired Beautician
and refuses to let me pay. She took a picture when she cut my very long
hair off. I loved the look, but there is no way I can make it look as nice as she does.
She bought a curling wand for me so I could keep it like she had it. Chuckle! ME?
Do my hair? That was the nice thing about long. Brush it back, Make a bun atop
my head, BINGO!
(I did take her at least a quart of Michigan organic honey .)

Now I have only to be POSITIVE that I actually did create the poetry.
I wonder why suddenly, after years, I doubt my work?
I want to send a copy to my brother whose wife recently died.
Yet I must never take credit for another's creation.

Had a little excitement here tonight.  Turned on the hot water in the bathroom sink, and the handle popped off, and I had a geyser shooting up to the ceiling.  I tried to stop the flow, then tried to turn off the water under the sink.  It was so tight, I couldn't turn it.  Tried calling the emergency number (maintenance) three times, got voicemail  Ran out in the hallway, banged on the neighbor's door, no answer.  Went back and grabbed my Channel Lock pliers.  Used that to break the water valve loose, and was able to stop the water.  Sheri came down, and helped me pick things up, but said we'll let them worry about the water.  My living room is dry, so I can sleep here tonight, but the bathroom has a half inch of water in it.  It's seeping under the wall into the kitchen, under the stove, and probably fridge.

No joke.  I was soaking wet from it!

Nothing worse than escaped water. Takes ages to dry out, we had a burst pipe in the winter of 2012 while we were in Spain. Came home to a horrible mess, had to move out for three weeks while it dried.
Hope you can get cleared up LFF, awful thing to happen. Landlord probably has insurance cover for a clear up.

Maintenance guy wiped up water with towels last night , used a shop-vac on the carpet in the hallway, and put a fan in the hallway for the night.  Carpet's still wet this morning.  Hopefully, the manager will come out and inspect it today.

What a crazy time you had of it, lightfootfan. Maybe they can get it all dried up.

I dare not get my hair cut, I don't have that much left. Glad you got a discount on the cut.

No plans today, just looking after Michelle, she did the home test last night, after feeling so bad and running a high fever. Tested positive for the Covid. She's pretty miserable right now, but the fever is breaking off and on.

We have rain once again this morning. Yesterday they forecast no rain today, now they have 100% for the next three days, which will probably change, once the sun comes up.

Michelle sounds a little better this morning, but still the bad cough and feeling miserable. It's misting a super light rain this morning, possibly heavy rain moving this way from the west. Have a great Thursday, everyone.
